Well...he is a good actor. LOL...he flopped on the FLOP KING Vlade Divac.

    He is just 18..

    He is very athletic..strong..bigger...taller...dang.

But the media is CONSTANTLY talking about him. Like all the time.

Yao Ming was impressive too...I'm not really that impressed...I already knew he was good because the dang media was showing him all the time...even his high school games were broadcasted on national tv..

    Kings better win.

A bunch of teams not "supposed" to win have won their season openers!

If you are sick of the talk wait till tommarow. Sportcenter will likely have a very long segment that breakes down every good play he made tonight. Its going to get annoying real fast.

Most impressive? Nine assists, ZERO turnovers.

I don't expect him to do this well all season long, of course, but for his first game, against a good team, this is beyond all expectations. Is it too late to sign up for his fan club?

Yeah, it is too much to expect this through the whole season but you can see how he will change the game. He is truely a gifted individual.

    Final stat line.....
    25 pts
    9 asts
    7 rbs
    4 steals
    0 turnovers

    WOW!!

if lebron plays three more games like this, ill stop hating. But we all know who the real best #1 pick is, right? (hint: it doesn't start with kwame)

PS: speaking of Kwame, (who aint playing so horrible anymore) doesnt it suck to be him? he doesnt have any more excuses as to why he sucked so much his first year.

Oops, he had to go pick up two turnovers after I typed my post. Still, very impressive debut.

I guess you can hope he will fail but your wasting your time. Just enjoy watching one of the best talents in NBA, and one day he will deserve all the Pub that he is getting. And after tonights game its pretty obvious that it wont be to long.

If that is the theme of this commercial, it failed badly. Lebron's image is very marketble, Nike has to do a better job.
Reebok's commercial featuring AI looks a lot better to me. When are they going to make a cormmecial featuring Yao?

The strength and body control on that shot was impressive and with the left hand... wow! He looks like he has the physical tools to do some things right *now*.

I am impressed with this 18-year old. He is getting Jordanish really fast.

Wow, if he can play like that consistantly throughout his career. . .

It's still kinda early, but LeBron looks like MJ + Magic.

i don't think the jordan, t-mac, kobe comparisons are fair.

if anyone his game most reminds me of Magic. The kid is going to be great but Jordan, Kobe and T-Mac were all more athletic. Lebron is physically stronger than any of those guys when they came in the league, but Lebron is not as athletic. He is however a much better passer.

what's most amazing to me is that his assist total should have been way higher. He just has alot of really mediocre team mates. Ricky Davis, J.R. Bremer and Carlos Boozer were the only ones worth a damn tonight. Ilgauskas didn't even look very good or play all that much. I can't imagine what he'd do on a more talented team. Though he and Ricky Davis could become a very formidable duo. It'd be nice for him if Darius Miles would finally start attempting to reach his potential. They'd have a very strong starting 5 if he did and a good 6th man in Bremer or Wagner once he's healthy. They lack depth in the front court though.

Of all the plays James made, my favorite was his decision to pass the ball to Davis when Lebron himself had a break-away dunk opportunity. Talk about maturity for an 18 year old. That behavior is a great way to build team chemistry.

25 points for an NBA player who came straight out of high school in his first game. Can you say super-duper star.

All I can say is this kid is for real. He will have his ups and downs because his shooting is not that good yet. But , you can see he is unselfish and has great court awareness. The kid is only 18 and he looks like a leader out there. WOW!

At the start, I was anti-Le Bron b/c of the overhype. Now I really don't care. I wish him the best and good luck to him.

If he stays clean off the court, then the world is his playground.

Wow! 0 turnover in first NBA game, as a point guard! I am totally sold on the King!

With that said, if he was more aggresive and took charge during some stretches of the games, the Cavs could win. Jordan, Bird, Kobe played with more fire when they were young.

As long as Lebron's dynasty comes AFTER Yao and Francis's, I don't mind him being good. I don't want Yao be another Dream. (well you know what I mean)
