You don't need to be an expert to know, that any player would be better not playing for the Kings, maybe except Omri Casspi. Of course he could improve on a team that is actually professionally managed. But it also doesn't mean that he would automatically evolve his game or become a serviceable player. I see no "high upside", even with the Kings you should do a lot better than 6 points in 18 minutes as a shooter/offensive player, if that was the case. You don't wanna hurt your options in summer by adding a guy who hasn't done anything in four years.

I'm cool with McLemore if he comes cheap. But the value of first round picks rises with the new CBA, so you don't give them up for busts, especially not in our situation. If we spend our first, it has to be either for a real young gun whose free agency is a year or two away or a veteran on a decent contract that is able to deliver right away.

1st round picks arent exactly worthless. He might be hesitant to give one up after the jeremy lin and ty lawson deals gave him no return on 1st round picks. Lets see what happens at the deadline. I personally believe that if we do a big trade it will be in the offseason. Lets see

Thanks Clutch. ABS is a Mavs fan and he needs to go back there.

 

I like Macklemore a lot him being a fellow Jayhawk and all and I do think he would be a good fit here.

But I'm 100% sure that dekker has more value around the league than Kj McDaniel and Ben Macklemore.

Dekker is a rookie he played like 9 total minutes last year. He's a rotation guy on a 55 win team.

I get it, from reading your posts the last few days it seems you are not fond of white players.

The funny thing about that is he plays the opposite of your typical white player.

I do know that philly wants dekker over any young player we have plus picks if they were to deal Noel to us. That's been confirmed by tom Byrn on NBA radio.

So yes dekker has value in the league.
