As much as the Rockets have been through with Eddie, I still think they should exercise the option. The fourth year's salary is less than the league average, and gives the Rockets so many more options. If he gets treatment and turns himself around, he will have at least some trade value.

    Good luck Eddie,
You didn't screw up as bad as Jon Matthews or Rush Limbaugh, and people still worship them!
    Get well soon

Just to be clear, that was speculation and not an accusation.

I don't see anything wrong with speculating about what might be the problem. It isn't like we are damaging the reputation of a respected philanthropist. The kid has been in trouble lately, so speculating that he is a clinically depressed alcoholic is a big step up from what a lot of people have certainly been thinking to themselves based on the trickle of evidence we have heard, which is a violent criminal who is detached from reality.

This is great news imo. Much better than hearing he's rejoining the team like nothing happened.

Clearly he has problems. Hopefully he has realized this and is willing to do whatever is necessary to get his life in order.

There is NO Heroin in X.
That's just what you tell dumbasses who can't comprehend chemistry. X should be MDA or MDMA, but there are about 20 different variants (MDEA, MDBR, etc..) and all of them make you feel a little different. Heroin taken orally in such a small amount will not affect a person. It only makes the product more costly with no benefit to the end user.
X is actually based on Saffrol Oil, AKA sassafras (the same stuff as gumbo file & the stuff root beer is made of.)
The only thing it is usually cut with is crystal (1/8 per ounce) to make it seem like it lasts longer, but in reality it just makes people stay up longer.:)

I'm knew it was speculation. That's why I had the winky thing at the bottom of my post. It's nothing personal.

I just think the guy is a troubled kid, without enough guidance and with too much money, that's getting accusations and speculations thrown around here for a bazillion pages... with us still not really knowing what's been going on.

I've done my share of speculating. I lean towards the clinically depressed theory myself, with a little "who knows what" throw in. You just came up with something new (to your credit ;) ) and I was "throwing up my hands" going "what's next??'.

It'll all come out in the wash.

    Missed the winky thing...

I think the speculation is more for our collective obsessive compulsive disorders.

So EG has checked himself into a hospital to seek "help". Exactly how will this help the Rockets win games this season?

Don't you guys understand that this was Eddie's out. By him checking himself into a hosiptal erases all past problems. And I do mean on and off the court. Let's just hope he's not wasting our time with this cop-out, or should I say hand out.
