    Has anybody, anywhere, ever, at any time, place, locality, ever, in any way, shape form or manner, expressed any affinity or positive feedback for Magic Johnson as a TV Commentator/talk-show host/personality/ entertainer?

    To my knowledge, the answer is no. The guy was a great basketball player, one of my favorite ever, but on camera, it is clear that he is a train wreck, and has been one for years. This is common knowledge.

    Why must TNT inject him into the Charles-Kenny-Ernie dynamic that has worked so well? Did they not solicit feedback last year?

    Why?:confused: Why?:confused: Why?:confused:

    I so agree. I don't want to see his ugly mug on the tv anymore.

    I don't want to hear him talk as if he is still playing for the lakers.

    I don't want to hear his stuttering.

    The little analysis he brings to the table is WEAK.

    boo to magic, the only time he should be on tv is espn classic.

    Yep, I was thinking the exact same thing last night. Why the hell did they add Magic in in the first place? Haven't they ever heard of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it?" And since it's been obvious to me for some time now that Magic is doing anything but helping, it's incomprehensible to me why they'd insist on making him a fixture. Uhhhhhhhh.

    I don't like him either, but the truth be told, when Magic talks we all should listen. He's one of the greatest players ever. So he has something to say. He just seems to have trouble saying it.

    I personally don't want to see his ugly, "HIV-receptor deficient so I can't get AIDS", can't commentate worth a damn, face on TNT. I was having fun watching the halftime show until he showed up, then I changed the channel. I bet he just needs money so they took pity on him and let him on the show.

    magic is worth over half a billion dollars right now, iirc. his businesses in the black community have done very well, and elevated the communities in the process. magic doesn't need any money, he's got intelligent business managers.

    I hate the fact that when ever Kenny and Chuck start talking, Majic has to inject and slow the whole thing down. He talks SOOOOOOO SLLLLOOOOOOOWWWW!

    They should put a timer on him, and when he starts to talk for too long have music come up and drown him out, like in the Academy Awards.

    He is just ruining everything that made Inside the NBA great!

    He's not the worst, though. Worst TNT/ESPN broadcasters in order from worst to fifth worst:

    1. Sean Elliot
    2. Greg Anthony
    3. Magic Johnson
    4. Tim Legler
    5. Stephen A. Smith

    Magic sucks donkey balls. He turned a good thing into crap.

    Maybe the choice was between Magic and Tim Hardaway.

    Pick your poison.

    I used to think this.

    But after watching a lot of ESPN Classic over the years, I disagree now.

    The Magic I like seeing is the young fierce warrior who looks mean and makes plays on the court.

    This old, wise Magic act doesn't do it for me. And he doesn't add to the chemistry that Sir Charles, Kenny, and Ernie have.

    Whenever Magic's speaking is grating on your nerves, try recalling one of his no look passes.

    Geez, must STEVEN A. SMITH yell every time he tries to make a point. The guy thinks getting louder equals good logic.

    That whole panel sucks if you're looking for good analysis. It's all for entertainment, which is why they probably think Magic fits in. Don't try to tell me Barkley and Smith actually bring any kind of insight to the table. It's all a comedy show. Barkley is actually drunk on the air most of the time, you guys know that right.

    Well he doesn't.

    Magic isn't entertaining or funny.

    Barkley = Comedy\Entertainment
    Kenny = Analysis
    Ernie = contrtol/flow
    Magic = ? ( i think they were trying to add more analysis

    What I like about his no-look passes is that they're also no-speak passes.
