I was just thinking we needed some more guys on the bench wearing suits. It would really bring a sense of class to the organization.
I believe you can play Anderson/Gallo together at the 3/4 for about 15 mins per game. I would try to trade Harrell/Brewer/1st for Gallo and then trade a 2nd for Ajinca.
Doesn't matter what you think so keep your "thanks." Faried would be an excellent addition to this team. Be "thankful" about that possibility, eh.
I actually think KJ / Brewer are pretty good fits for what Denver does in terms of having guards that can cut well and joker deliver the pass . KJ can fly and Brewer made all his money by being a huge fast break threat . If we can do it for those two I'd do it ... Though there still is some risk as at least brew is healthy and has been playing OK as of late . But Gallo is undeniably a better talent and if he can guard backup 3/4 and play team D then it could work out great for us. Edit.. I'd be willing to throw in a pick as well
Actually Harrells rebounding is so far away from Faried it's like calling Brewer a 6'7 version of Curry.
I would try to trade Dekker/Brewer and take W.Chandler/Faried. And in the offseason, I would hope Ibaka test free Agency and choose the Rockets. That way, we have some workable assets to do a decent trade in the 17/18 season. You wouldn't have to use Anderson to headline a major trade package which every team would turn down. You can make him a pot-sweetener though, with either of Montrezl/Faried. That's how you get s*** done. You need that "good s***" to get back some "good s***.". You can't come to the table with nothing and expect something. And Anderson and Dekker comes from nothingness. Understand?
Gallo could put up monster numbers in this system. He's basically the forward version of Eric Gordon. Similar career trajectory (both drafted high, high expectations, highly skilled) with similar limitations (injuries, defense, All-Star talent but lack that "extra gear" that superstars have). The West is an arm's race and this guy gives us a player that's top 20 in FTA, automatic from long range, can create his own offense and score from anywhere on the floor. If the goal is to snag an under-the-radar complementary star that doesn't make a ton of money, he's your guy. This guy could tip the scale in a playoff series. Does he give us enough muscle to go toe-to-toe with GSW in a playoff series? No, probably not. But if the goal is to keep winning games, ensure Harden wins the MVP and make a little bit of noise in the playoffs a move of this nature would greatly serve that purpose.
Right and DMo's a superstar that we let get away too? It seems ya'll grossly overrate our guys while underrating other guys on bad teams. Faried is significantly better than the "younger version" of him we currently have
Gallo is like Ariza. He can guard some PGs too. It'd be a little bit like having the Battier-Artest tandem again.
People assuming Gallinari is some massive defensive liability are making that assumption strictly based on race, because he is fine on the defensive end. He's not a shut down defender, but calling him a sieve is just BS.
