No, he's not at all. He's a left leaning commentator who is not at all crazy. Alex Jones is crazy. You've been challenged to back up your claim that he's as crazy as Alex Jones. Please provide the evidence.

I don't accept this ridiculous internet challenge and I never said he was crazy like Jones. I said he was Jones on the left meaning, YouTube celebrity, famous for political far sided partisan news. TYT and InfoWars are the same, content notwithstanding.

Also, I stand by my real POS comment. TYT name references the group responsible for the Armenian holocaust/genocide so he must be a great guy.

Prejudicial much? I guess The Young Germans or Young Post-Native Americans are out of the question too.

When you make outrageous claims and can't back it up, that sounds like your buddy AJ.

Your metaphorical reference negates your backtracking.

Shameful you won't look it up yourself, that's lazy D&D. The Young Turks stand for something awful to anybody who knows history.

The Young Turks are far left political commentators. If you hate Trump, you'll love them and vice versa. I'll leave this thread now and let y'all bat confirmation bias around.

These clowns are in so far over their heads it is no longer even scary, it's funny.

Wait until these guys have to construct and submit a budget to Congress. With his tenuous grasp of our constitution and governance he probably does not even realize it's his responsibility.

I glossed over the last time you said it, but if you have to insist on this point, I'll have to object.

The original Young Turks was a progressive movement to westernize, modernize, and democratize Turkey that fell victim to infighting that opened the door to particular personalities that saw an opportunity for dictatorship. They took over the Ottoman Empire on the eve of WWI, allied with the Germans and perpetrated the Armenian Genocide. They did come out of the revolutionary Young Turk movement, but historians see their rise to power as the effective end of that movement. This is a pattern we see over and over again in revolution, with the French Revolution producing Robespierre and then Napoleon, the Russian Revolution producing Stalin, Perestroika making Putin, the Arab Spring producing el-Sisi, the Tea Party revolution making Donald Trump (that one's a joke, so don't get upset). Dictators have a way of emerging in times of uncertainty. But, to say the Three Pashas who ruled the Ottoman Empire during the war define who the Young Turks were is like saying the Nazis were leftists. I know it serves your political purposes, but the aborted historian in me still thinks its important to be honest about history.

Also -- and just like the arguments that Nazis were actually leftists -- there is a standard understanding that is being flaunted. The term Young Turks has entered the public psyche and many people at various times have been called Young Turks in different capacities. As its used as a cultural reference, it's never intended to refer to the Armenian genocide, and instead is appealing to the idea that such people are young, capable, and very progressive. I don't know TYT from Adam, but if they're using that name, it's to reference this very common understanding of the term and not some subliminal and completely made-up advocacy of the Armenian Genocide.

I'm no fan of Cenk Uygur or TYT, but to call them "Alex Jones / Infowars of the left" is just absurd and laughable.

Ipaman was called out, and he didn't even put up a fight? That's terribly embarrassing.

He does this in almost every thread, eventually. Hilariously contradicts himself, gets called out, calls everyone else in the thread a moron.

    Wash, rinse, repeat.

Because you don't want a wall and prefer open borders. If the border security infrastructure takes 4 years to build they could use 25% of the annual Dept. of Homeland Defense budget to do it. That's 40 billion.

Ipaman was successful in deflecting. Let's go back to the CONTENTS of the video regarding how Trump can't handle multiple page memos(all leaks sourced from NYT and Politico).

    Here's the video again.

From a CNN article - couldn't have said it any better:

Remember when Donald Trump promised to be the Harlem Globetrotters of politics? "We're gonna win at everything we do!" said Trump. "We're gonna win, win, win. You people, you're gonna be sick and tired of winning." Now he's president of the United States, and Trump has indeed given us tricks and deceptions worthy of the basketball legends. But winning? Not so much.

With flourishes meant to create the image of a commander rapidly transforming Washington, Trump has instead notched one failure after another. Consider this list a lowlights reel:

    · Top national security aide Michael Flynn, caught in a lie, forced to resign.
    · Federal courts block Trump's executive order banning travelers from seven Muslim-majority countries.
    · Trump's plan to immediately "repeal and replace" Obamacare is frozen by the reality that he never had actually had a health care plan to substitute.
    · Mexico's president, insulted by Trump, cancels his state visit.
    · A contentious call with the Prime Minister of Australia (an American ally) concludes when Trump abruptly ends the call.
    · A tail-between-the-legs acceptance of America's longstanding "one China" policy, which he'd threatened to upend.
    · An embarrassing display in which he discusses a surprise missile launch by North Korea in the public setting of his Mar-a-Lago club.
    · Lies about voter fraud and a "massacre" that never happened have made the administration a laughingstock.

The debacles have been so numerous that Trump's aides, including counselor to the president Kellyanne Conway, press secretary Sean Spicer and senior adviser Stephen Miller, must perform round-the-clock media duties where, deprived of serious facts and policy, they deliver distortions and deceptions.

Actually you should check out Cenk Uygur and the Young Turks show. Cenk at one point had a show on MSNBC. But he resigned/was fired because he was not only critical of the right wing, but he also called out Obama and MSNBC asked him to stop it, and offered him huge $$ to do so.

Because of his principles he declined. His show is great. It is nothing like Alex Jones.

Of course you don't accept the challenge, because the premise you are trying to claim is ridiculous and you can't back it up. In your post you say he isn't like Jones, which contradicts what you claimed before. As JV pointed out, you are incorrect about the name The Young Turks.
