People are still thinking we will make a major move by the trade deadline.

I think Dudley for a pick/Brew or KJ would be the type of move we make.

Nothing big is going to happen.

I would look for vets on losing teams where they want to play the younger guys. Like PHX

See what you can get Barbosa or Dudley for

Why on earth would the Rockets give up Clint Capella to get 97 year old Tyson Chandler?

Figure out how to get Ajinca/Dudley/Barbosa. I'm going to guess something like Brewer/KJ/both 2nd's. I don't play with the trade machine, nor am I a cap guru.

    No major moves.

Somebody see if GOAT Cook can come out of retirement. Get his jersey from the rafters of Mount Olympus.

yeah, i think cousins would do well here but it's not coming at the price of trevor ariza. think what you will of him but he's a core player here.

That would be fantastic imo...if we could scrape him and maybe even Barbosa off the heap in Phoenix that could add some real teeth to the team. Dudley has always been a good shooter in my eyes and Barbosa has obvious ties in with this squad. Please yes.

I would adore seeing the Rockets trade KJ and a second for James Johnson if Miami will give him up.

I am not sure he is worth a first given the contract situation. But for a second he would be awesome.

I have mentioned him as a possibility a couple of times.

James Johnson has been playing well and could play a number of front court positions in MDA's small ball system. So nice versatility. Would be a great add to the bench unit. I am really liking his assists this year at 3 a game. And he is a "tough guy/enforcer" which is nice to have on the team.

I really hope you didn't take this seriously. There is no way on Earth that DMC would come for that package ever.

with the surge miami is on, i find it difficult that they would part ways with johnson. i think they may try to shed the bigger contracts they have on the books.

I'm getting antsy about a backup C trade. I'm not sure this is our most pressing need (I think it's a backup PG or a SF defensive stopper) but I think it is important. With all the recent mediocre C's being traded early before the deadline, I'm afraid we will miss the boat. I want to trade for our own mediocre C before anyone else gets him! Koufos is probably the one that is most intriguing to me today. Could change tomorrow. I don't want to give up much for someone like Ty Chandler.

I think there are a lot of options for backup PGs. Not sure who is a good fit as a SF defensive stopper for the playoffs. I do like the James Johnson suggestion earlier.

Doesn't this tell you about what a pain in the ass Nurkic is? He needs touches to be happy. Nurkic is not getting touches with the Houston Rockets.
