I personally believe that's not the case. Maybe for a segment, but not generally. Who is better at understanding why people try to immigrant into the US than those that did so legally or not through refugee programs, asylum program, or other programs. They may understand what is legal, but I bet they are much more likely to have empathy toward illegal immigrants that are trying to seek a better life for themselves and their family.

And of course, other those sick people, no one want to see family torn apart.

I've just anecdotally heard that sentiment. I've never seen any actual poll numbers. Also I've heard Mexicans pissed off over how Cubans used to get a free pass if they were able to get to America.

How do your parents feel about illegal immigrants? Also were you disagreeing that legal immigration should be greatly expanded? I don't think you were I was just a bit confused since you said you hated that rationale.

 

You are talking to someone that legit believes that the amount of melanin you have is relevant to if you are a good or bad person...you're not going to get a rational response.

Absolutely, deporting innocent people (meaning people legally in this country) would be absolutely awful, it's never "cruel" to deport someone that is in this country illegally.

 

The main difference is that Dei usually adds a "Brown people can't build a civilization." line or some other shot at non-white people, so of course no one likes it. fchowd simply stated that third world countries exist, Dei on the other hand likes to tell you they exist because they aren't run by white people.

@robbie380 is right. That they understand the desire to migrate is not the point. The line is between how they chose to do it. One went through the process while the other cheated, not just the country they're migrating to but them who patiently waited in line. Let's not even count the fact they're aware of the quality of these people; they know they wouldn't have made it through legal avenues.
