I really hate the Warriors and Lacob but let's give credit where credit is due: 73 wins in 82 games still is a hell of an accomplishment.

Teams win championship every year, only one has won 73 games.

Records are meant to be broken, but Championships last forever.

Jordan had to get tired of people calling Curry one of the best... Seriosuly, read the crap the media wrote about him that year. He was the best ever, one ring and 2 MVPs...best ever...best PG ever, best this ever, dudes were ready to put him in top 5 discussions and everything.

Funny how quick that ended when you blow a 3-1 lead in the finals.

I guess that'll be the first and last time those other NBA owners will try to **** on MJ for not having the best regular record anymore...

In 10, 20 years more people will remember which team won 73 games than '94 championship.

Knowing Lacob, he'll probably go back to SF and have a bunch of rings made up that say "73" on them. I'm sure Ayeesha wouldn't mind.

I think not getting a ring is hand on hand with that achievement.

in addition to probably remembering that, everyone will know they didn't win a title so that will always be there if you just want to believe winning 73 is just as great as an actual title. Any real competitor that truly cares about winning would pick a championship over regular season feats.

People still remember that 95 Magic Team that could have been. It was the Thunder team of this era.

Maybe, but ask those same people what team won back to back championships in 94 and 95 and they WILL remember. Now you and johnathan can go back to fellating the warriors.

Last year's Warriors were like the 2007 Patriots. Perfect season but got upset on the biggest stage. The only way they can get people to forget about it is to win several more championships afterward, like the Patriots did.

If they do, they will also remember they got beat in the Finals, just like the Patriots. They will forever be remembered for losing that year, unless they win another to make ppl forget, as Easy says, too.

Damn, there seem to be a lot of Warrior fans on this forum of late. You guys do know that Oakland is very close to Silicon Valley and I would imagine there are probably quite a few forums that exist where you can talk about how great the Warriors are OR how big Draymond's dick is, or the time that Iguodala stole the finals MVP from Curry. Some of those sites are probably extra snazzy too, filled to the brim with smug and arrogant douche bags who like to sit around and circle jerk about how overrated Harden is and how Klay Thompson is the bestest and all.

Based on some of your comments it seems like maybe its time to make your debut on one of those sites.

73 wins? Ask the Patriots what they felt like in 2007. Without the ring it doesn't matter.

QUICK QUESTION: Who had the record before the 72 win bulls? no googling or searching?

I will guarantee more people know who won the 1994 championship than the answer to that question.
Pick a championship season and more fans will know who won the championship than the answer to that question
    so . . . NO . . . .

    1972 Los Angeles Lakers 69-13
    1997 Chicago Bulls 69-13
