You know, one thing that amazes me about Rudy, is that he never, & I mean never, has harsh words or critisism for anyone. He always manages to put a positive spin on any issue or question. How many coaches of other franchises have you heard blast one of his players or even the whole team? No wonder Rudy is considered a players coach. He never embarrasses his players publicly & you very rarely, if ever, see displeasure on his face towards one of his players, with the exception being during the game. You have to tip your hat to Rudy. The man is a class act & I for one, am glad he's our coach.

Definitely! It's getting hard to imagine the Rockets without Rudy. We're lucky to have him!

Does anybody else notice that Rudy is usually always standing up on the sidelines while other coaches are usually sitting. Rudy is always entraped into the game. Whether were up by 20 or down by 20 Rudy will be standing on the sidlines giving out KAPAYAS!

Next time anyone attends a game...notice during the timeouts the different coaching styles of the opposing team's coaches versus the Rocks!

You will notice on timeouts that a large majority of opposing teams' coaches gather in a circle away from the players to discuss strategy while the players sit on the bench and wait. Then, the coaches break and the players huddle while the coach gives instructions.

Notice the Rockets bench...The coaches usually immediately gather with the players and discuss strategy. There is a lot of player interaction in Rudy's huddles. He lets the players interact with their strategies.

Good or bad, Rudy lets these guys have input.

You know I'm sitting here thinking how Phil Jackson, over there in L.A, tries so hard to be a controling and awe-inspiring, by having a book club and wanting his players to be something other than what they are -- perhaps he wants them to immulate the Buddah, I don't know. Always smirking and rubbing that fluff like he's a damn Plato or something.

Then over here in Houston, theres Rudy T. who accepts his players for who they are; Rap-music; Gold chains; it makes no diffrence to Rudy. He sees beyond that sort of thing. Rudy doesn't desire for his players to join the oprha book-of-the-month-club. Rudys coaching ambitions our left on the basketball court and are not carried over into the field of life where he is just one of the guys.

    Rudy's the real Buddha.
