Ha, just really to mess w Don after being called/quoted as a Doubter in the original thread. I just think people have a right to be worried, and its no longer a "its just 1 game" issue, so I figure our .500 play since 2017 gives doubters a valid concern. Me, I root for my team til the very end, but game-to-game, quarter-to-quarter, they sure can make it tough lol.

Worried about what though? That we're not gonna compete with the Warriors or the Spurs? I think even in the team's best moments that was always in question. Worried the team may be actually crap? Not really. I will take the season's work over the dog days of January as the better indication of their ability.

If I were to peg this team, I'd say it's around where the Yao/T-Mac teams were at. Not quite upper echelon but clearly really good. Now if they start dropping into the 6th or 7th seed come playoffs, then I'll revisit my opinion and be worried that this shick doesn't work.

Looking at Utah, Boston, and others more, these were teams that we were picking at a couple years ago, teams that are just good enough to be at the 7th or 8th seed. Going forward, they are becoming legitimate threats and I'm worried that we haven't exactly built up much young talent like these teams did.

Don being in line with Tinmac as one of the more delusional posters on the board.

Apparently you are not a fan of the Rockets / cannot support the Rockets anymore if you voice your displeasure with the lack of effort and heart they tend to show during games.

If you aren't touching yourself during each second of a Rockets game and have the only thought running through your mind being Rockets will go 82-0 and win the Championship - you aren't a fan according to Don

But why did you have to write "Please" twice in the thread title?

That's all I want to know

But that's what the Rockets are... we always give up young talent that have the ability to become something special... I've learned to accept it.

    A. Brooks? Dragic? Lowry? Landry? Patterson? I don't want to get too much into detail about why we got rid of them for whatever blossoms we achieved or received... but who knows, maybe there could have been some magic with some of them still being a Rocket at those times instead of getting rid of them like chess pieces.

Doubters can go to hell, just like the ones who doubted the Rockets on route to back to back titles.

I have no problem with people showing concern, as long as their concern also acknowledges the FACT that we are on pace to win 57 games and finish with a top 4 record in the NBA, despite starting with a STUPIDLY difficult schedule, with an extremely mediocre roster and James Harden is playing the winningest basketball of any human being on the planet.

So if you're concerned, let's talk about what can be improved the most, by tampering the least. If your initial reaction is any of the following:

    - Why isn't James Harden playing better than MVP level?
    - Why isn't Ryan Anderson hitting turnaround fadeaways and/or playing very good defense?
    - Why does Clint Capela play as though he's inexperienced?
    - Why don't we win more than our current pace, which is almost the franchise record, despite having a roster that should be struggling to break 45 wins?

If this is your analysis, please head over to the ESPN boards, you'll feel right at home, and no one will question your doubtfulness.

Here, we don't need much more from the Rockets. They have given us WAY more than we bargained for, they are putting in a crazy amount of effort to make up for their known deficiencies, they are playing a smart brand which highlights their strengths. We are about to embark on the rewarding part of the schedule, the easy part, because these guys won 68% of the toughest part of the schedule, which is incredible. Please don't ruin this for us with your weak, weak analysis.

We don't need much more from the Rockets, but we need much more from you, doubters. You're not putting in the effort or attention required for a board of this quality. Frankly it's lazy, and there is a lot of unforced, poor analysis going on. I know there is a lot of stress on you right now cause January was a tough month, but I don't give a sh*t. It's next man up, get your ish together, we want to see quality analysis instead of this catastrophic lazy breakdown in the quality of posts. I'm starting to have serious doubt in you. I'm not a doubter. Just concerned. Hope you understand.

Rockets are a flawed team, but they've also had a tough schedule.

They'll win 55 games, then lose in the 2nd Round.

Better than we expected coming into this season.

4th best record in the league, despite ranking near the top of every strength of schedule list I've seen? I'll take it.

Sure, it would be great not to have hit our little slump, but I expect Maori to find some help before the deadline.

Besides, back in the summer, not a one of us thought we'd be sitting in this spot right now. Relax and enjoy the ride.

Don't hit people like Don with the truth like that.

You'll cause chest palpitations as he clammers to right some idiotic rebuttal

Nice job replacing "to" with "2" in the title, it really kept things concise.

You got me on that one!

I'll go the LeBron route and admit my mistake there.
