I'm glad her performance was considered good.

Houston did no wrong SB Week.

I still think she should have whoever talked her into wearing whatever it was that she was wearing beaten publicly. It's not her fault that she doesn't have a model type body......but there are ways of making it look better and ways that you can make it look worse. They made her look about as bad as possible and the performance itself was nothing special, or even good IMO.

The only really impressive thing was what they did with the drones.

VanityHalfBlack, I'm pretty sure your "vain black half" has just disowned you for gushing like a swshy gay man about a white Italian girl's super-pop spectacle show. What's next? An effusive critique of Celene Dion and Kenny G?

The problem with playing the "Lady Gaga" character for Ms. Germanotta is that your "brand" is your willingness to always be more outrageous that the last time you were seen in public. That started out by thing like wearing dresses made out of balloons, but that necessarily escalated quickly. In 20 years, she's going to have be out-skydiving Felix Baumgartner from altitude and jumping right into the middle of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone for a concert right on the top of the reactor vault. She's become the musical equivalent of Evil Knievel.

It's got to be pretty tiring being Ms. Germanotta. She's going to have to give it up pretty soon, or reinvent herself. How much would you be willing to risk your life and health over and over again to keep getting paid like that, especially after all the cash you've already banked. The only motivation at this point would appear to be ego.

Halftime show made me feel my age. I was thinking the whole time "Wtf with all the stupid clothes and stupid dances and stupid stunts." I can appreciate that putting together a show that complex is incredible. But, really no appreciation for the end product.

Yeah, she should reinvent herself by doing a whole album of jazz with Tony Bennett.

Stupid clothes, dances, stunts have been around since forever. Unless you're 200, it's not your age.

I didn't watch the half time show, but I watched the game. Great game! Incredible comeback by the Patriots. Reminded me a little of the Oilers versus Buffalo game back in the day. Atlanta's fans will never forget this loss. Never. Old Oilers fans know that feeling very well.

Boring ****. The roof jump was obviously fake and may have been original in 1995, but not today. Zero innovation, no guest appereance, no surprises - just the same old egomania you are used from her. No effort to make it special, just the same **** she does on her concerts and videos. A Superbowl show is the right stage for some unusual never-seen-before compilations, but I guess this self-obsessed attention w**** didn't want to share the spotlight.

The only good thing about Gaga, she's not Coldplay.

Half of the reason we don't have the team any longer was that loss. Timing is everything, and "Bottom line Bud" couldn't have timed his stadium demands any worse.

Not a huge Lady Gaga fan, but I thought it was fine. All the songs are snappy, the show was over the top. I see no problem with it at all. It appeals to the greatest swath of viewers possible.

Those saying they are too old for all the dancing and weird costumes...didn't you live through the 70s and 80s? David Bowie? Elton John? Michael Jackson? KISS? Prince?

Lady Gaga's shtick has always been kind of transparent to me, she's just your average popstar for a new generation. The girl can sing and does weird **** that has never resonated with me. I understood that the half-time show wasn't for me. And that's OK. I'm sure it was entertaining for her fans.

What I do appreciate about GaGa is her message of inclusion and belonging. That's important for young people. If she's got to wear dresses made of meat and jump off of buildings to help the self-esteem of kids who hate themselves so be it. "Born this way" is catchy I guess although I prefer the Weird Al version.

I thought it was pretty safe and a little boring but not bad. I guessed the rooftop and jump were filmed earlier because of the way it was shot but whatever. I thought the best thing was her backup dancers. They were actually really good. I don't hate or love her music but I thought she was supposed to be about taking risks. But, again, it was tame...which is fine but nothing special.
