I know I'm late, but I wanted to bring this up. A friend of mine thinks the world of kobe "ballhog" bryant and doesn't think Steve's in the same league as iverson and bryant. Last night against the hawks he helped my argument. Looking at the stats yeah kobe has 29 pts and iverson had about 32, but Steve had 31. The difference is the FG attempts made, bryant- 11/34, iverson- 12/32, and Mr. Franchise 11/17. Oh yeah don't that toniight he was two assists shy of his third career triple-double which I believe would have tied kobe. ------------------ [This message has been edited by Wakko67 (edited March 08, 2001).]
No, Kobe only has one triple double. It is pretty hard to get 10 assists out of him. ------------------
Stevie's not in the same league, yet. Kobe has a ring and Iverson played like a warrior in last years playoffs with injuries. Once Stevie can take us to the playoffs and plays big then he can be in their same class. Until then he is just Houston's little secret!
Steve is good, but as good. Remember, they each average ten more points then Steve, and only dish out 1 less assist. I feel it won't be long until steve is that good. Lets just be patient. ------------------ "GiddyUP!!!" Krammer from Seinfeld
Steve is not in the same league as those two yet. Simply looking at a few games as isolated examples isn't fair to all of the candidates. ------------------ Jazzkiller
