yep, but its good for their customers since most are obese and cannot leave their houses due to abominable weight, lack of motivation and door frame constraints.

You can pick up your online orders at a local Walmart for free usually. The only problem is that the process is quite annoying.

People would rather pay $120 a year than ever walk into a Walmart.

    This.

So I can buy something at Walmart....without setting foot in a Walmart? Sounds like a win-win to me.

That being said, I'll stick with Amazon.

There's a small Walmart Neighborhood Market near my house where I pickup online orders. In and out in a couple minutes each time.

It must suck for the people who live right by it though. I can't imagine sharing a fence with a Walmart parking lot helps your home's sale price. I noticed one of the houses (which had a basketball court and pool in its huge backyard) went for sale right when they started breaking ground, before any Walmart signs had gone up.

But also imagine those people never having to drive for groceries again. You can push your grocery cart all the way back home!

At least with Walmart you can be sure the junk you're buying is not counterfeit junk. If it's not sold by Amazon directly, I won't even consider buying it.

    But their return policy, though.

You can seriously return anything for any reason. I bought some undershirts last year and tried to return them because they were the wrong size. Amazon just credited my account and told me to keep the undershirts. LOL.

The return shipping on non-clothes kills returns. Bought some notebooks and they arrived all jacked and I thought I was ordering multiples of 2 instead of 1. Was going to cost 7 bucks to return so screw it. No option to ship it yourself anymore either. Must use their return slip.

That said, not interested in walmart. their website is cancer and stores are worse.

Walmart is great. You can pretty much get anything there and they have a very good return policy. Why do you want to wait for 2 days?

I prefer to support local businesses and that is why I choose Walmart.

I tried this once at one of the Westheimer locations. It took me 20 minutes to find someone who would acknowledge they worked in the online pickups department and at least another 30 for them to come back with my order.

I've used Walmart.com a few times and had no problems at all. Amazon is often just too expensive.

Any comp that emerges as a legit alternative to Amazon is good. Walmart.com has as good a chance as anyone else. A small chance.

Walmart is a helluva lot cheaper than the alternatives near me for certain goods (namely groceries and alcohol) but it's a b**** and a half to get everything back, Will look into this for sure.

^ No joke, one of the most ridiculous badonks I've ever seen was at the Dunvale Walmart some late night back in college.

That stallion is seared into my memory

It was also probably the last time I went into a walmart of my own volition
