Please stop hurting your arguments by comparing this to anything Obama did.

Possibly true, and even a better reason for her to be fired.

That will be news to millions of immigrants in the US. Maybe they know more about your country than you do. Sad!

And yet by including green card holders in his orders it is obvious that it isn't simply against people from troubled parts of the globe. The one thing in common is the religion of both green card holders and refugees.

Not the same thing. Obama did this properly and it was done with Chaos in mind. NONE OF THESE COUNTRIES had citizens that have done terrorist acts on American Soil. Yet, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan (San Bernadino), and Afghanistan all have terrorist that have acted in America. Why no ban for them? Could it be The Donald has business ties to these countries? Why Yes!

No....the thing in common was the country they are traveling from, countries that the Obama administration listed as "terrorist hotbeds" and of course them not being US citizens thus not having a right to enter the country. It doesn't matter what religion they are.....but by all means, keep pushing that propaganda.

I'm confused but what you are trying to say. Are you claiming the bill of rights applies to non-citizens
Ask obama. Better yet ask homeland security. They picked these countries back in 2015 when Obama banned visas from these countries.

No, not for green card holders that have, in many cases, lived in the United States for decades.

By all means keep denying the facts.

So, in your mind, green card holders who are Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, or Athiest would have no problem entering the US from one of those countries and that the US is only stopping Muslims? I'm not sure if that's funny or sad....because I honestly believe that you might think that.

If you are going to argue the facts, it would be best if you knew them instead of just pushing propaganda.

her own department deemed the order legal, she just refused to do her job

no choice but to fire her

this is why you escort people out the door when they are fired, she knew she was leaving and decided to cause trouble by being insubordinate

I don't think you understand why green card holders are traveling to those places. It's because their families are from there, and they are visiting them. It is not impossible but highly unlikely that Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, or Athiest folks would still have family members in those nations.

Knowing she would not enforce the executive order should she had stepped down from her position?

I think she was right to do what she did, and Trump was well within his rights to fire her. Clearly to execute his hair-brained schemes, he needs people willing to follow his asinine orders.

I don't think you understand that it's not relevant why they are traveling to those places, what matters is that they are non-citizens (or "people who don't have a right to enter the US) trying to enter the country coming from a country that has a travel ban in place. I don't think the Obama administration listed those countries as "terrorist hotbeds" as religious discrimination, do you? I would assume that they did that for a valid reason, which means that the travel ban being put on those countries is also valid and is not religious discrimination.

You never answered my question by the way, do you seriously think that it's only non-citizens who are Muslims that are being prevented from entering the country.....or are you just rolling with that propaganda while knowing it's BS?

What I'm doing is focusing on the idiocy of Trump's directive. I think the non-Muslims being prevented from entering are an incredibly small percentage.

Again, stop comparing it to Obama. You do yourself a disservice.

So.....basically you are pushing propaganda that you know to be false because you want to make it seem like more of a big deal than it really is? Gotcha.

Nope, just dealing with relevant facts.

Tell me, did literacy tests only affect African Americans? Were there any other races affected? And yet, they were deemed to be discriminatory.

I'm not coming out of left field in dealing with the large majority of people affected by the idiocy. It's part of our nation's history. I'm not sure why you seem to be one of the ones willing to not learn from it be doomed to repeat it.
