The addition of these three countries is indicative of the Department’s continued focus on the threat of foreign fighters. DHS continues to review the security of the Visa Waiver Program, the threat environment, and potential vulnerabilities. Do your research. Examine the source of the problem, consider how terrorist attacks could have been prevented, and get back to me. Certainly not by banning immigration from 7 countries from which no one has ever committed a terrorist attack on American soil. You can use national security for any country: "well, the terrorists struck in France, so let's ban all French citizens." Right?
You damn sure know this regulation is a farce and not effective or thought-out anyhow. It a) doesn't include the most dangerous countries and b) mostly affects people that aren't any harm whatsoever (people who have lived in the USA for a long time and have no ties to extremist organisations).
