    OMG...

first you claim that MJ would get lit up by a bunch of guys hardly worthy to carry his jock, and now you are comparing the ball-hogging, spotlight-wanting, me me me player to Kevin Garnett???

and then, to top it all off....Yao will be "10 times the player that Hakeem was"?????? If you had any shred of credibility left....it just went to hell......Yao will be good...maybe as good as Dream....but 10 TIMES BETTER????????? Please

You are either the biggest Kobe homer on the planet, or you are just delusional(aren't they basically the same?)

If Garnett thought it would get him to the finals, he would defer to any allstar in the league...whereas Kobe thinks he is the super stud to top all other studs...If you dont see that by the way he talks and plays...I dont know what to tell you.

Im done with you...you wont listen to reason....no surprise since you seem unable to reason in the first place...

JDIDDY....it figures you would agree with this guy...

what makes you think you are bestowing new information on us?

that was already posted in the appropriate thread in NBA Dish..

and who cares why they fight...as long as they fight..keep it up... the West could use a weakened Fakers team.

LOL, you are kidding me, right??

Kobe's wife has not been giving it to him for the last 6 month !! She's not even sleeping on the same bed with him prior to the incident.

Your comment "....Kobe would love to come to Houston....." really cracked me up.

Kobe is the Largest Ballhog in the entire NBA.

    :D

Thats a crazy interview (Kobes). The statement I agree with most would be the one about Shaq b****ing about a contract when you have 2 players that are probably top 5 Ever at there postion playing for a 1/3 or less of what they could be making playing somewhere else.

Rockets2K, if you knew how to read, you would be able to uderstand that I said K.G. wanted to come to the Rockets, I wasn't comparing him to Kobe, and Yao will be 10 times the player that Hakeem was in the sense that he will not be greedy although the chinese govt is taking most of his money away, he will be over all ten times the person Hakeem is and the talent level as well. Have you seen Yao play? If you say yes then you would see what I am talking about, Yao ming will step all over your face and then some Rockets2K. Why don't you go and root for the Utah Jazz, and kiss Andrea Kirelinko's a..

OllieZ, Yeah I am sure that Kobe's wife didn't let him sleep with him for the past 6 months before the incidence right? You are stupid for thinking that Kobe would put up with that from any women on the planet who would do cartwheels to just catch a glimpse of him, and most of them are all damn fine as hell too. Get your act together, and I ment every single word about Jordan to all you people who overrate that guy.

we'll only get kobe to play for us if he's on parole...

Kingpinmaster, just as an aside how old are you? you have blind faith in kobe's innocence when most of the FACTS haven't even come out. the semen in her underwear came from 1 "non kobe" person, and the fact was LEAKED by the defense team & didn't come out in teh pre-lim hearing. while innocent til proven guilty, you dont make such a serious allegation against someone KNOWING IT WILL CAUSE YOUR LIFE TO BE TOTALLY F*CKED UP! SHe has no life now & is in hiding, both from the media & psycho fans (and hitmen) who are making threats against her life! Wait for the EVIDENCE to come out.

He will be 10 times better than Hakeem Olajuwon, not to mention anywhere as stingy and greedy as Olajuwon.

If there is a God, he will allow me to have back possibly the most wasted 5 minutes I've ever spent in my life reading this post.

Kingpinmaster, I fully support your right to freedom of speech, and one of the principles we try to stick to in this forum is not to resort to insults and base opinions on the subject without attacking the messenger.

But there has to be an exception to the rule. And this is it. Saying that Yao will be 10x better than Olajuwon is....

...stupid, ignorant, dim-witted, dumb, simple-minded, feeble, weak, foolish, moronic, brainless, dense, shortsighted, mindless, laughable, nonsensical, inane, imbecilic, stupefied, ludicrous, thick, half-baked, idiotic, naive, rash, unintelligent, and witless.

    No offense, of course.

How much about the law do you actually know?

It's smart for a prosecutor not to play his hand too much until the actual trial. But this guy barely presented enough evidence to get past the preliminary hearing. There's almost no chance that he was pulling a huge punch. No doubt there's more - but if he had an ace, he'd have played it.

There's not enough to convict. Not even close. Sorry, I have no ****ing clue if Kobe's innocent. But I'd give you great odds on him walking unless the prosecutor's holding something huge back. He's got much better facts than OJ - and has the prosecution out-gunned in terms of legal skill, too.

"He is no Jordan, and even if he was, Jordan just got lucky and came into the league at a great time. If Jordan was at his prime right now with Kobe, Mcgrady, Iverson, Steve Francis and all the other great guards, he would get lit up."

He is no Jordan, and even if he was, Jordan just got lucky and came into the league at a great time. If Jordan was at his prime right now with Kobe, Mcgrady, Iverson, Steve Francis and all the other great guards, he would get lit up.

Some of Kingpinmaster's additional words of wisdom:

    1. Larry Bird was overrated- he just got lucky playing on a very good Celtics team.
    2. Wilt Chamberlain was a piece of crap. Just used his big body to knock players out of the way and dunk on them.
    3. Magic Johnson was not an elite player. Andre Miller is going to be 10x better than Magic ever was.
    4. Bill Russell just got lucky. If he was in his prime, Brad Miller, Ilgauskus, Nesterovic, and even Mini-Me would light him up.

    And some non-basketball items:

    5. Ernest Hemingway was not a great writer- he just got lucky publishing his works during the time period he did. Put him up against John Grisham, J.K. Rowling, and Stephen King, and he would get his a** kicked.
    6. Ho Chi Minh is 10x the leader that Mahatma Gandhi was, especially because he's not stingy and greedy like the Maha man.
    7. Leonardo daVinci was not a great thinker or inventor, he just got lucky being born before the 18th century. Put him up against the Wright Brothers, Giovanni Marconi, and Henry Ford, and he'd get his a** kicked.
    8. Rosie O'Donnell is 10x the woman that Halle Berry is, especially because she's got a way better body and isn't as chunky as Ms. Berry.
    9. Led Zeppelin wasn't a great band, they just got lucky being around in the '70's. Put them up against New Kids on the Block, Vanilla Ice, and NSync, and they'd get their a** kicked.

    And last, but not least:

    10. ESPN is 10x the message board that ClutchCity.net is, especially because the posters there are much more intelligent and mature over there.

    Well, some.

whatever old man  you have a direct contact with either his defense team or the prosecution? otherwise you are spouting BS hearsay WHICH ISN'T EVEN ACCURATE! 5 men and the kick-ass defense leaked it was only 1... you must have incredible sources (btw the only way i'd believe the "5" theory is if it was from kobe's bodyguards/minders and they aint charged...)

i have no idea on the american legal system, though i have some legal knowledge. from here it appears to favour the advantaged few (both businesses and individuals) and doesn't always appear to make sense with the rulings (from a non-american POV).

it does look like kobe is getting his money's worth from his defense team & the prosecuter needs to get a damn good assistant. from reports, i think the DA withheld too much info, but that might be part of the strategy (ie removing the chance of appeal using unfair trial/biased jury). again, i have nfi about the inner workings (unlike some claim)...

I agree. Jordan was extremely overrated.

    Sincerely,

I agree. Yao will be 10x better than Hakeem, and Jordan was way overrated, too. No doubt about those two facts at all.

    Sincerely,

    Sam Bowie.
