It must really burn Hinkie's butt to see a packed Philly arena chanting "trust the process" not even a year after being fired.

Hindsight is 20/20 but outside of the Noel/Okafor debacle, he really put them in a position to create something special.

I've been up all night. It's 7:05 am and I'm still shocked at this performance. He did it twice. Twice? Yes, twice-same season. He did what only 5 other players in history have done, but only two others have done it twice. The people we think of as aberrations for their time: Wilt and Big O.

Harden scored or assisted on 80 of Houston's 123 points and Harden has posted 14 triple-doubles this season, matching Hakeem Olajuwon's total in 16 seasons with the Rockets. He's not El Chapo, he's El Regalo.

Harden's accomplishments are cool, but i want him to do this against GS or the SAS. Racking up numbers against Philly is like shooting fish in a barrell. I'm still upset how lazy he looks in games against elite teams.

    From a sixers fans forum:

After the game I checked how many years has Harden on his contract with Houston. Too many unfortunately The image of Embiid-Harden pick&roll would be scary.
Damn! The Beard transformed Nene in a stud for a night.

James Harden's performance was so amazing that nobody is talking about Brewer's 0/0 outing.

If this is what it takes.....

The Rockets went the entire regular season 2 years ago without losing more than 2 straight games. The result was a 56-26 record, the Southwest Division title, and the 2nd seed.

I like when I hear Nené's name pronounced Nenay during the broadcast and then Murphy refer to him as Naynay on the post game.

We need to get our bench players more minutes. We are play our starters waaaay to much and the team seems to be wearing down

The problem is... with Gordon unavailable, the Rockets backcourt players are realistically limited to Corey Brewer. In fact, the players on the bench that are reliable are (in order): Decker, Nene/Capela, and Harrell. And Brewer, but that is debatable.

When Harden is off the court, then the players that can create consistently are almost non-existent. Beverley was struggling last night, and while he had a number of assists, he really wasn't into the offense last night (and defensively seemed way slow). I might have liked to see what Harrell could have done on defense, but it seems that he has been over-focusing on offense lately. There was at least one instance when Decker had to bring the ball down the court, and one where Capela had to initiate the offense pretty close to half court. A number of problems happened when people that shouldn't be handling the ball/creating offense were (eg Nene having to start a drive from too far away from the basket). Anderson is a catch and shoot player, but struggled to create with the ball too many times.

The Rockets really need to add more talent, especially at the 1-3 positions. I am guessing Bobby Brown is a really good friend of Harden but he isn't a rotation player on an NBA team. Ennis isn't either. And at this point, neither is McDaniel. hate to risk team chemistry, but the team needs to make a deal.
