Yeah no kidding. And last year he put up amazing stats and wasn't even on an All-NBA team because of the garbage team record we had.

I see clutchfans has finally gotten you to break the shtick and get upset.

    Welcome to the dark side.

    I think this is right.

I'd like to add a little more on to this. It's probably an unpopular opinion but I think MVP talk and chasing triple doubles has actually lead to us losing or almost losing a few games.

It seems instead of running the "right play" sometimes our team is trying to improve certain statistics.

Durant has been the best player this season thus far, but it's quite likely voters won't get it right just like when Hakeem won MVP in 93-94 over Robinson.

a symptom of Gordon, Anderson, and Capela being in and out. What was different from last year. Gordon and Anderson, suddenly one gets hurt, the other sick and they are in a huge slide. Seems pretty simple and obvious to me. Harden is frustrated because in his mind he is the reason they are killing it and its true to some degree. I hope these guys are healthy for the playoffs, that has been the one knock on them.

No, mvp is not for offense only.

No, of course not. It's not like he's the runaway winner so far. Record is important - as it should be.

I'm sure if the Rockets continue playing like this Westbrook will win because the media still hasn't internalized the idea that efficiency is a part of value*. Durant would really be the one deserving of it, though, if you ask me.

*Westbrook's efficiency is not god-awful - but it is so far behind Harden and Durant that it's disqualifying in my opinion, most other things being equal

No, how can you prove your value as most valuable when you can't hold your team together. This skid we're on isn't costing him the mvp but it isn't helping his case. The stretch run after all star will dictate the mvp race. The media is already halfway through their bottle of jergens on from Westbrook's numbers, they want to give him that trophy so bad. If the Rox unravel then James becomes just another stat monkey

Must win. 3rd seed minimum and some flair. But 2nd seed should seal it. Although we said that before, got it, and still denied MVP. There's no easy road. You have to win it. Sad thing of it is, it's probably the only thing we got going for us so I want it.

I agree, and that's what I was referring to last night, even though you got all upset. Yes, we won big and he was putting up big numbers offensively, but your words here are exactly what I was saying. The turnovers and lack of defense could make that bit of difference between winning and losing against good teams that don't turn the ball over as much, and who put more effort on defense.

the difference between u and me was I wrote this they were slumping. U were btching about harden when he was doing great and the team was out right blowing team out of the water. U Basically another Joomba. Yea u have the right to criticize about what might could happen, but I also have the right to call u out. Just know when harden is massive on offense and we dominating the game he could be walking on defense for all I care.

I hope WB doesn't avg a triple double. That would change things.

That's basically what he does, because a superstar like him can't bother getting winded playing a little defense. It's fine with you and a lot of people, and he can turn it over and lead the league with that stat too, but it's all fine to you, because he scores so many points. I guess you will say we can beat San Antonio and Golden State without him playing defense. We will never agree on that.
