Remember that whole thing with the other girl from Dallas that I posted (well, had Major post) here about? She dated the drummer and said he (the drummer) was a prick as well. Honestly, last night, they all looked sorta prickish, if you can judge that thing on looks alone. Regardless, they ****ing rock.

Bands On The Run was the best reality show ever (besides Joe Schmo). They should really do another season of that. I was addicted to that show.

Side two only, or the whole album?

Of course, I realize CD's have no sides, but when this record came out, I played side two over and over. I wasn't too fond of side one.

bought it for the same reason and can't stop listening to it. it's good, really, really good. allman brothers meet the stones with several other influences strewn about.

having seen the strokes already, i'm almost just as pumped to find out what KoL are all about. plus, i've still only heard the one new strokes song (not including the ones they played in concert).

I’m in a CanCon indy phase right now, with a few exceptions. The high rotation stack in front of me as I type includes:

    Constantines – Shine a Light
Broken Social Scene – You Forgot it in People
    The Notwist – Neon Golden
Young and Sexy – Stand up for your Mother
The New Pornographers – Electric Version
    Caedmon’s Call – Back Home
    The Weakerthans – Reconstruction Site
    Sigur Ros – ()
    David Lindley – El Rayo-X
    Propagandhi – Today’s Empires, Tomorrow’s Ashes

The last one’s not really my style but I’m giving it a few spins. The rest are all highly recommended.

Bringing this back up because I am listening to something different at work:

    "Drukqs" - Aphex Twin
"Selected Ambient Works, Volume II" - Aphex Twin
A double CD burned for me by that great Aussie, Smeg, that contains Aussie music.:)

    Silverchair - "Diorama"
    Everclear - "Sparkle and Fade"
Red Hot Chili Peppers - "By The Way"
    American Rejects - "American Rejects"
    The Clash - "Mix"

This time tomorrow I'll probably have a totaly new collection in my car. Even though I can only listen to about 2-3 songs between my house and school...

Hey, have you heard "Octopus"? It's pretty good.
Gentle Giant is another group I saw way back when.

Octupus is one of their best. My favorite is Three Friends. Very eclectic style.
