Our record says we are an elite team . The respec we get from NBA officials says otherwise .

Tonight we got absolutely mugged . I will not blame the loss of the refs ; however , I will say that they were absolutely atrocious and did nothing to protect our players .

Bev got payed out multiple plays in a row and there was not one whistle blown .

However far worse is the treatment Harden revived . I feel like refs don't want to "give" him calls because he already shoots so many Ft's and has a reputation for creating the contact in a squirrelly way . I'm talking about those threes .

However , harden has been relentless in attacking the rim the last few games and doesn't always get rewarded .

What was most egregious however was on the last play of the first half . I'll refresh your memory . Harden takes a 3 , gets undercut, and rolls an ankle ... No call. It obviously effected his play . He had 20 and 7 at the half and 2 of his 5 turnovers were not his fault ... The second half he looked much more lethargic and turned the ball over quite a bit.

Also Harden got thrown down by Monroe in what should have been a technical and would have been a tech if the action had been against any of : Lebron , curry , durant , Irving , Leonard.

If the NBA is going to refuse to protect a superstar and leader for MVP then we must take matters into our own hands ... It's a risky strategy , but one that sends a clear message .

    Rest James Harden .

I will start with the con ... We are much more likely to lose any game he sits .

    Now the pro's .

#1 , our team needs to learn how to play without James .
#2 there are teams that we still have a talent advantage over .. Two of them coming up .
#3 the message it sends and forces the league to listen .

The NBA is a business , it is about money , the fans help drive the profits . People come to the stadium to watch superstars play .

If we sit James , we can say this " James rolled his ankle on a missed call so we are letting him sit out a couple of games ."

Coach gets fined 5k , the discussion it generates might be worth it .

Either way the rockets need to do something because we get absolutely no respect from the officials .. ESPECIALLY On our own home floor .

Why do you put a space before punctuation ?

I've been asked that question before . I think it's because I get in a rhythm when typing on my phone . So I just am used to hitting space after every word .

Notice how he posted in your thread but completely ignored your post content and focused on completely irrelevant punctuation? What a joke.

I won't ignore you but I don't agree with you. This team does not have an elite level D and that's the major issue. It's not refs, respect, missing 3, etc..., it's simply lack of consistent, strong defense. But it's okay because no one predicted we would be elite or even close to elite this early so in a way we're ahead of schedule. We're one player/trade away from fixing it.

Bucks fans were crying all night because they thought the refs were screwing them. The Rockets took 28 free throws and the Bucks took 27 free throws. I haven't noticed the refs not respecting the Rockets. Look, refs miss calls all the time for all teams. The Rockets just need to play better.
