DMo can't be traded this year.

Did you guys not pay attention to all the DMo threads this year

 

He was a DNP-CD the whole game. He only played because of the blowout, garbage time. Both teams cleared the bench when the lead was 28. At that point, who cares about +/- . He might have even been pissed they made him go in.

 

So why exactly hasn't he been playing much?

Anyone else notice he is tweeting a lot since the signing. Every game he says something. I don't recall him doing it that much as a Rocket. Maybe he did. He definitely used social media to interact with fans. Just don't recall a tweet about each game

Not as fun to make fun of DMo when we lose, but...

He had a breakout game last night. At least by his own low standards at the moment. 6 points and 2 rebounds.

 

He is not in the rotation yet.....played only garbage minutes.

Can anyone imagine a front line of Dwight Howard and Donuts? I think the NBA would rescind that trade for having too many malcontents on one team.

 

Is it still considered garbage minutes if he got in the game in the first half?

It was a pretty depressing display of selfishness from his teammates. One pass and the shot is up. DMO would be at the top of the key trying to get his teammates to run a play. they wouldn't. Everyone is out for themselves. There was a 3 on 0 fast break and TJ, instead of passing to his 2 teammates that were already ahead of the play, dribbled The ball from half court to get a dunk. TJ gets it. DMO better get his or he is done.

This feels like when Chuck Hayes left to go to Sacramento, I knew no one would appreciate his skill set the way the Rockets did. It looks like DMO is experiencing the same thing.

Dmo better hope his career doesn't die in New Orleans.

As a D-Mo fan, when I heard NOLA was the team, and that it was for the minimum, I just facepalmed right then and there. Its SHOCKING to me that at a minimum cost, why he wouldn't sign with a contender. The Warriors are relying on Javale McGee for crying outloud. The Spurs are playing Dedmon. The Cavs are relying on Chris Anderson.

I knew that NOLA was a team that just wouldn't have a team agenda that he could contribute to. He'd have to be such an unbelievable talent in order to get a key role in their offense, and touches. On a contending team, he wouldn't have to in order to have a productive second half of the year going into free agency. He'd also potentially have a big role in the postseason which matters in the next free agency.

 

And plays a different position - good for Dekker, that was not the point, DMo would have been here WITH Dekker.
