Man I'm getting tired of this. Everyone says were a small market, but what do you expect when we get no media love. Tonight only 3 NBA games were played, but on just about every sports program we were one of the games shown if not THE LAST!!! They even showed the orlando-charlotte game way before us. Man we're one of the hottest teams in the league right now and I have to sit through 75% of a sports show just to see my team on a 3 game night. This is bull. ------------------
Ok let's look at the other 2 games compared to the Rockets game. San Antonio vs Portland 2 of the elite teams in the NBA faceoff, they're within half a game of each other. Obviously the marquee NBA game of the night. Orlando vs Charlotte 2 playoff teams in the eastern conference within 1 and 1/2 games of each other. They're fighting over playoff seeding. Houston vs Clippers They're the freaking clippers!! They might be better than usual, but they're still the clippers. We're 13 games ahead of them, I dont see why anyone would care about this game outside of Houston. ------------------ Cause I'm a twenty first century digital boy. Yeah the clippers are the clippers, but they don't completely suck. You want to talk about fighting for playoff seeding, no one is fighting for playoff seed more than The Rockets and I think you can admit that. Plus who really cares about the east (aside from Philly.) My point is why can't we be shown with the TWO other NBA games instead of 35 minutes later. This isn't just tonight, this is pretty common. ------------------

True, but are we the clippers? No. No one thought we'd get out of 11th, but now they're biting their tongues as we fight to reach the playoffs (which we do have a decent chance at.) ------------------

The national media sees the Rockets as a team that's benefited greatly from the Eastern conference but has yet to beat any decent teams in the west. Once we start beating the good teams in the west we will get our respect. I'm sure if we did make it into the playoffs the story won't be about the Rockets great turnaround, but instead of how Phoenix or Minnesota choked away their playoff spot.
