The last Nintendo system I purchased was the Wii. We don't have that anymore. But I will admit to getting all kinds of nostalgic goosey bumps seeing that Zelda trailer. I don't have the Wii U so that isn't something I would consider buying just for the Zelda game. I may end up getting this just for Zelda, Mario and whatever else is highly rated. But probably not right out of the gate. I'll wait until at least the summer or so and see what people think of the system (especially the multiplayer).
Not sure how good they are at gaming but Affordable Space Adventures is a ton of fun. This is the upside of lower powered consoles.
Cool, never heard of it, quick look and it does sound really fun. My boys are 4.5 and 6.5... the older one can read, just slowly, so lots of parent involvement is needed at first. But then once they figure it out, they're good. The older one likes Mario Kart the best, followed by Splatoon. The younger one prefers Mario Wolrd 3D, Yoshi, Rayman... but will also play some Splatoon. Splatoon is a really cool, unique take on the FPS. I do need to do more research so I can help the older one have a better set-up (weapon, outfit). He loves to play online, but usually comes in 3rd on his team points wise. Sometimes he'll pull out a 1st or 2nd. But I don't really know what weapons to point him too. Not that it's that big of a deal - I think many parents would not be cool with a 6.5 year old playing a FPS of any kind... we generally wouldn't be either, had Splatoon not been so Nintendo'like in nature.
Damn i want it cause of zelda but im too busy with my ps4 ever since akuma was released as dlc on sfv
Hopefully my in store Wal Mart pre-order will come through. I've been hearing that people have been informed that a lot of local stores over sold in store pre-orders.
Yooka Laylee is the spiritual successor to Banjo Kazooie.Should be fun. I would LOVE for Rocket League to be on Switch, hope it happens.
Hmm... I'm considering cancelling my preorder. The reports of sync issues on the left JoyCon are *very* prevalent. At the end of the day I'm going to buy a Switch eventually, but I'm worried if I pre-order, Nintendo will take the approach of selling "enhanced" JoyCons in 6 months (hello, Wiimote Plus), thus screwing me as an early adopter. Will have to think it over. I'm about 50/50 on which way to leap.
I don't game very much so as a casual gamer i'm pretty excited about some of the early positive reviews. But it will be a while before I get one. Drex...unless you're just really itching to get one, I think waiting would be a good bet. Seems like every other article comments on the syncing blips.
I'd imagine you could flip that hoe for a profit pretty easily. Craigslist it and meet at a police station.
Yeah, upon thinking about it some more I think I'll stick to my original plan and just flip it if I don't want it. There are certainly enough overpriced listing already to suggest that's feasible. Plus, upon further reading, I hear there are no de-sync problems with the Pro Controller. So, assuming I can ever find one of those since they're sold-out everywhere, that would solve my problem.
Picked mine up last night. Obviously did not get much time to spend with it, but I like the way the system feels both in and out of the dock.
I cancelled mine, the system and accessories are really overpriced. I love Zelda, but I'm not trying to pay $400 to play it right now. Nintendo burned me hard on the Wii U, and I see a lot of similarities in regards to gaps in game releases. So Zelda now and Mario Kart next month then...Mario near Christmas assuming it doesn't get delayed. Then what? Fool me once...
