I've completely forgotten the details of the bet that split this board. Can someone remind me? My proudest moment back then was shilling for Oscar Torres... :-o
If you moved here to D.C. I'd hook you up with 1200 sq ft 2 bathroom house for that much. And you would probably can get a higher paying job here too with your credentials.
Originally posted by Behad As I remember this bet from the beginning, the objectives were that the Rockets would upgrade the center or PF position before the SF spot. Simple enough. Griffin is a SF, and will play as such. Thus, our side lost... BUT ...if Griffin does play PF before he plays SF, or if Langhi sees time at SF before Griffin does, then we conceded too early. This isn't rocket science, people
The University Center at U of H has been completely remodeled. That was both the alma mater and the prisoner exchange point for custodial visits growing up, so pretty big to me. The campus as a whole has a lot more construction, too.
Can anyone vouch for these Frenchy's locations in the 'burbs? Are they "3rd Ward" certified or cheap knockoffs? These franchises were definitely not around 11 years ago...
If you want to browse the local cuisine download my app, Waitr. It's a delivery/carry out app but we do full photos of restaurant menus and have a fairly large presence in spring!
There's a new freeway running through Spring... HWY 99. It will be the longest beltway in the country once finished. I-45 has more lanes in Spring and they stretch all the way to Walker County. Spring also has the best Twin Peaks location, that I've been to at least. The area is growing.
Spring, eh? #1: you have to try Corkscrew BBQ out there. #2: The Woodlands has a surprising amount of truly class restaurants. #3: While expensive, the new Grand Parkway is a game-changer on how to get around town when you live out there. Still have zero idea why folks want to live outside the loop, though...
I live in Spring, TX for 4 decades, no home invasions (German Shepherds). The bad area for Spring, is east of the Hardy Toll Road, south of Riley Fuzzle Rd. Granted I'm Spring, TX the city north of Sawdust.
