Ok so we are definitely not trading him for Thon Maker after all then? :D

Capela is not a as good as a finisher as Harrell inside the paint.

Yes he has the height advantage and a better target for lob but that's about it. Harrell has a stronger upper body and he can finish better than Capela through contact and Harrell gets way more and one chances, and of course he is a way more better FT shooter.

Capela's best usage will be stopping the other teams scoring inside our paint at will, mainly because Nene is old and Harrell is undersized against the big and don't have the physical ability to block the shoots from the penetration.

But on offense, Harden can dump off the ball through a bounce to Nene and Harrell but he most likely can't do the same to Capela, that's something he must improve.

Pretty excited to get Capela back. Nene and Harrell are looking great. Gonna be awesome with Bev, Harden, Ariza, Harrell, and Capela out there.

I think you will see the difference in our defense when Capela gets his strength back to where he was. He's a better shot blocker and rebounder. He is great for setting picks for Harden, protecting the rim, and getting across that court quickly. I miss seeing all his alley oops. He and Harden have great chemistry, and Clint is a smart player. What is great is that we have a combination of strengths between Capela, Harrell, and Nene that we can use against different lineups.

Thank the basketball gods that Clint doesn't overthink it either. In other words, he's more than smart enough to realize that an alley-oop off of a p'n'r is a great thing for a guy with his skill set.

Clint will continue to improve on offense. He's already improved a lot. Remember, if Morey had had his way then Capela would probably still be playing ball in Europe. Clint is only 22.

It'll help if he gets the entire All-Star week off. In fact, give him the 2 games prior to the break off(Phoenix and Miami at home). That'll basically give him a 2-week rest.

If you make it the last four games before the break (adding on Orlando at home and @Charlotte) he'll get a full 20 days, which is what I've been thinking they should consider.

I don't think that lineup would work as well as you think. Not enough gravity to pull the defense out past the three. Paint will be packed..
