For some reason, you seem like a Celtics fan. Maybe it's just me.

MVP - Steve Francis: he will make some sacrifices this season. His assists totals and field goal percentage will be career highs and the voters will reward his team oriented play

Defensive Player of the Year - Kelvin Cato: the ability he showed in the last preseason game to totally shut down Tim Duncan is a preview of things to come for Cato. With increased playing time this year the league will see how good of a defender Cato is

Most Improved Player - Yao Ming: It sounds strange to have Yao win MIP after he had such a great year last year but he will add about 8 points/game, 4 rebs/game, 2 assists/game and 1 block/game to his statistics

Coach of the Year - Jeff Van Gundy: JVG will guide the Rockets to their best record since the mid 1990s and the Rockets will make the playoffs after a long drought

6th Man of the Year - Eric Piatkowski: Piatkokski will give valuable performances backing up JJ and Mobley. He will lead the league in 3 point percentage

Sportsmanship Award - Jim Jackson: The guy is a class act

    J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award - Cuttino Mobley: With events such as Cuttino's Clutchcity Shootout, Dream Date with Regis and Kelly, and other various functions the league will recognize Mobley's efforts.

Rookie of the Year - Torraye Braggs: Braggs will shock the world. LeBron and Carmelo will wilt under the pressure of being under the daily microscope of the scrutenizing media. Torraye will lead the nba in rebounds per minute and post great numbers in field goal percentage, blocks, steals, and assists.

NBA Champion - Houston Rockets: If all above comes true how can they not win it all. :)

I predict this will be the season of DUNCAN THE SUPERSUB!!!!! Not only will he be MVP again, but he'll also be Defensive Playerof the Year and he'll do it all of the bench, so he'll be 6th man of the year. And I predict that around midseason, DUNCAN will get a face lift and manipulate the data in his driver's license so he can be ROY again, too.

    MVP--Duncan
    DPY--Duncan
    6th Man--Duncan
    MIP--Duncan
    ROY--DUNCAN!!!!!!!

Runner ups : LeBrick James as ROY and KG in every other category.
