And the lesson to be learned here folks is simple. If you can't get the deal you want by September, go to training camp and take the qualifying offer. Dmo cost him self over 3mil a year for nothing.

It's fitting that he is going to sign with the pelicans, his last great game of the season prior to going down to injury was against them.

RFA is a dirty business. UFA isn't going much better.

Holic was right all along. I admit I was a doubter, but I C now - we've been hearing it since before the Olympics, but DMo 'bout to sign that lucrative multiyear deal holic has been alluding to since the summer of 2016.

Seriously, I am not sure how this work. Money wise he will definitely lose a lot. Most importantly, he probably not gonna get too much PT over there. Alexis Ajinca, Omer Asik, Athoney Davis, Terrence Jones, Dante Cunningham. How many minutes can D-Mo get? 10 - 15 mins? Wow....

If we are to presume that he can still play at 75% of his peak self, he would be a great trade filler/add on for the Pelicans based on that salary.

Wow - if he took the QO, like most of us said, he would have been much better off, and in a great system averaging double figures and scoring at a high rate.

    Bad move on his part.

I'm assuming that the the NBA Players Association, like the other 2 leagues, has a certification/licensing process for agents? And I'm assuming that BJ could get barred from representing players in the future?

I feel bad for his family which might or might not be struggling in that former Soviet Block.... BJ Armstrong doesn't know how much some Lithuanians struggle and their 7ft son and his earning potential is their big break...

Not to mention he didn't play in the Olympics....because of this, he could have signed the QO and been done with it.

I just think it's hilarious how the D-Mo super fans are going to have Terrence Jones & Motiejunas reunited. Have fun with that Pelican fans.

We take Anderson, Gordon, and Dekker. They take Asik, T-Jones, and D-Mo. I like our hand a lot better than theirs.
