guess this pretty much proves he had no intentions of playing for the Rockets anymore

It's actually frustrating to me we don't give him that contract. Clearly he has health problems and his agent f*cked him. Anyways I am sure he hates Morey but he would help us.

BJ's career as an agent should be over after this fiasco... But he'll continue to suck and blow on the careers of his current clients until they dump him.

If I was Donatas, I would get a good lawyer and sue BJ Armstrong for total negligence and incompetence as an agent. An agent is like an attorney of the NBA and should know the guidelines of procedure before giving their clients bad advice.

I don't believe it was the Rockets choice, nor did they have an option, I believe the league stepped in and dictated what would be happening.

Dmo an UFA, and Brooklyn can't sign him.....basically telling the Rockets and DMo...that their circumvention of the rules and how it was supposed to work would not fly.

That is how it went down, IMO.

    DD[/QUOTE]

Except feigen explicitly tweeted that it was an option. Either he lied expressly (which he doesn't do) or he was lied to and believed it (which is unlikely). My version is that the rockets saw something when he went in for the physical - perhaps not to fail but perhaps that there is something long term not worth the headache - and decided to let him go to minimize headache and liability. Perhaps they were trying to involve the nets and NBA to send him back to the nets, but the league said no.

I was very irritated by the whole thing, but seeing as we're doing so well, I'm over it and small part of me is happy there's a chance a guy rebuilds his basketball career, and if he does it will help another guy (Davis) who I really feel sorry for with their situation. Hope it works out well for him, and I hope he sees that his agent fueled his emotional decision making instead of being the wise one.

He won't crack the rotation over TJones. Veteran minimum, Jesus.

After reading all of these "haha" messages, I was thinking the same thing.

If DMo was healthy, I'm sure things would have turned out differently. Makes me wonder why the Rockets just didn't let the Nets have DMo. Maybe it was purely to shut BJ down for not wanting to work with the Rockets.

No matter, I hope DMo finds his health and a little success to go along with it. No need to hate at this point.

That's ok. He's not losing a dime apparently. I feel sorry for dmo. He should sue BJ.
