if capela's injury isnt gonna linger this is a bad move. rockets are plenty deep at the 4/5 with ariza and dekker for small ball 4. we need someone to replace brewer, not nene or harrel..
Interesting. Honestly, I have not heard anything relating to KK. Brewer, yes. The Kings have been dangling their stock of big men for awhile. If they can't hold on to that 8th seed or start to implode (expected), the writing is on the wall for that whole team.
I believe it's a smoke screen. 1) Kings need to move a center to make room....leak this to drum up interest around the league for one of the centers. Come make a deal before Houston gets one. 2) Houston may have leaked this to leverage with another team like Philly, by saying "we" have options elsewhere. Come down on your asking price. Houston lost a ton of leverage when Capela went down.

I disagree completely. While we are a little thin at the 3 spot, Nene has some mileage on him, and you can never have too many big bodies in the West. Plus we can easily flip Koufos in the offseason with that contract.

I like his use of the word "dangling" here. I mean when most players are about to be traded you would say they're being "shopped". However, when it comes to Corey Brewer you have to "dangle" him, almost like you do when you're sitting on the toilet taking a ****.
I would give up Capela, Brewer and possibly even Harrell for Nikola Jokic.. That guy is my favourite player right now and changes the Nuggets offense completely.
