Her performance in Singing In the Rain was amazing! One of the greatest movies of all time!

Some people here may not know that Debbie Reynolds was a major movie and television star. She was really popular during the 50's and 60's and continued to work into her eighties.

    Debbie Reynolds' most famous role:

My wife was laughing... If you've ever seen "Postcards From The Edge", it's based on an autobiographical book by Carrie Fisher, and one of the major themes is Debbie Reynolds' obsession with upstaging her own daughter.

This is like the ultimate final upstaging. Somewhere, Carrie Fisher is screaming, "Mom! Not Again!".

I just remembered that she's Carrie Fisher's mom. Condolence to their family.

The "In Memoriam" portion of the upcoming Academy Awards is going to be so long they'll have to announce the award winners through a scroll at the end.

At the pearly gates it makes you wonder if she is allowed to cut in line to be with Carrie, of if she has to stand like 100 people behind her and they just yell stuff back and forth while everyone else balks at the new advertising on clouds and how it floats up their ass.
