So basically, we only have one player now that teams can really hack and he's currently injured right?
Put it this way, the guy is willing to do anything to be better. I like it. Im sure when his time comes to be in rotation, he will be a fine player.
FT's are the easiest part of the game to transfer. Literally no one is stopping one from shooting and making those except oneself!
If true, they probably want him to keep playing instead of being in the bench. Harrell's play has probably something to do with that.
probably true. but i don't trust nene playing back to backs or even 2 in 3 nights as an effective back up. i hope some move is in the works.
Agree with your concerns and it appears that our solution is to use Ryno a little longer at the C spot until Capela gets back
It isn't by intelligent people, we know that all that matters is the results. But Morons think style is important....NEWSFLASH...it isn't. DD
Of high profile guys I know who have consistently tried to shoot free throws underhand, Rick Barry is only the 4th best free throw shooter in NBA history (90% career), and Canyon Barry (his son) is only shooting 86% at the line this year for University of Florida. I think there might even be an argument that shooting free throws underhand is better for everyone, period, and not just an embarrassing concession to failure. Add my voice to the chorus that is praising Onuaku for doing this. I think it's ridiculous that someone would be shamed for it.
I didn't see anyone projectile vomiting when Bill Cartwright shot free throws back in the day. Just make 'em.
Do what works! Especially with free throws. But too many basketball players are focused with cool.... too much emphasis of street cred!
Grandson? How does Rick Barry have a college aged kid? EDIT: Just saw that it is actually his son. Half brother with Jon and Brent, from his third wife.
I hope this isn't true and that it's just not all players are created equal. Some just suck at free throws but can consistently hit a three. As far as street cred either you have it or you don't. Cool doesn't define it, even in the NBA.
