    This is a quote of Marcus Camby denying the fact that Yao dominated him and the rest of the nuggets.


    MARCUS CAMBY

    On the ease with which Yao Ming scored tonight:
    "It’s preseason and we come back and play these dudes next week. we dont want to show them too much out there . You know he played a lot of minutes; I started, didn’t play that many minutes, so we’ll see him again next week."

    Van Gundy is familiar with Camby from their Knick's day...I don't think JVG will have much trouble translating this into motivational, informal English for Yao. ;) :D

    Yao only played 5 more minutes than Camby who had a hard time playing more than 23 minutes since he was playing with 5 fouls.

    This is not a bad thing, the Rockets need to be pumped up for teams like Denver. They cant afford to take any team lightly as proven last year. Maybe this will pump them up, we shall see.

    On the flipside Camby is probaly right, Im sure the nuggets as well as the rockets didnt want to reveal to much of their stragedy for next weeks games.

    What object that belongs to Marcus Camby is on Yao? Is this some sort of veiled sexual refrence to latent tendancies towards frotteurism for Mr. Camby?

    give camby like 2 weeks into the reg season, he'll probably be injured again...the guy is like a walking bag of brittle bones...
