Ye it was a tough loss against the Spurs last night, but it was the best vibe at the arena in a long time. I've been complaining on the poor turn around at the Toyota center all season long. So I got to hand it to the fans for last night. They were great! Felt like a playoff game and that kept us in the game even on a poor shooting night. If we'll have that kind of home game crowed through out the season, we won't lose much at home. Come on all of you guys living in Htown. We're counting on you!
It was still fun to watch. That's the way this league should look like. Not the dead lifeless stands we usually see. Wish there was enough NBA fans in the 4th largest city in the US that could fill up the Arena every home game.
Yeah, pretty annoying with Spurs fans cheering after their buckets. Anyways, not hard to get hyped after watching Dekker and Pat hustle their asses off. I think that's been missing the last couple of years. Really unfortunate of the collapse at the end and us not hitting any 3s all game.
And the Rockets fans were much louder. I've been to Astros and Texans games where the opposing fans were louder.
Lower the ticket prices and the fans will pour in. Going to a game has become so expensive now especially if you sit in the lower bowl.
This is what I heard. Les isn't worried about the empty seats aslong as he keeps those corporate suites filled
I think this was the first game of the year that it was actually packed. Lets see if we pack it again for the Clippers on Dec. 30
**** Leslie's greedy ass, he doesn't deserve the fans. Still great for people to show up, even if I lived in Houston I would go to maybe a handful of games due to the prices, it's insane.
The OKC owners give away quite a few tickets to their employees. I used to work at Sandridge and there would just be tickets on the table for their employees to take when they're walking out.
that's the only major sport they have it going for them up there. plus they start with KD and Westbrook the first year at OKC
Wouldn't it be great if, by making the offense fun to watch, the front office and the coaching staff improved the atmosphere in the building, resulting in better performance on the defensive end, too? As fans, let's play our part in the virtuous cycle.
