You download the file, open it with Wnizip or if you are using XP, it handles zip files natively.

It should unpack a executable(.exe) double click it and read the message boxes that come up(if any)...

    Thanks Sherlock.:)

I wouldn't get too excited over this win. Only 7 fast break points and horrible assist numbers...

...and, until they prove otherwise, these ARE still the Nuggets...

    Nice dunk :D

Second clip that i saw (i'm from Slovenia), that he faked, runed by and finished with slaming. I hope that he could do this regulary and especialy that he receives the minutes when season starts.

So, you didnt see anything to be happy about?

I'm assuming you saw the game of course..
Otherwise, all you are doing is commenting on the stats, which we all know can be decieving.

Since most guys in the post score off their own moves even if the ball is passed into them in the post up position, it is hard to get assists. The more the ball is passed to Yao when he is in the post, the fewer assists we will get.

I don't think people here appreciate the progress we are making yet. That was our first game with a semi-reasonable turnover number(17). Also, the Nuggets have been averaging almost 100 points with around 50% fg percentage - neither of which they came close to.

We had a high fg% (thanks Yao), and we did something we rarely did last season - we won a game easily without Steve or Cuttino or our 3 point shooters having a good game. Thanks JVG.

Exactly!! We took good care of the ball for the most part and the assists do not show how well we are moving the ball. I think we are doing a good job of making the opponents defense move to cover us instead of just zoning up or sagging down in the post. The last recipient of that extra pass either spots up and shoots or drives to the basket which for the most part they are slashing to the basket which negates that assist but doesn't negate the 2 that is made or the hustle plays we are making. Mobley was passed up a few times and it seemed like he was making a conscious effort to pass the ball but at times he did hold the ball the entire time only to miss the shot but he appears to be getting into the system. Cato and Yao playing high post low post? That was cool and they make a good tandem. We'll see how good they really are against some real big men against San Antonio. I'm liking what I'm seeing and only see room for improvement. I'm also liking the confidence that boki is showing as well. THAT DUNK! SWEET AND THAT 3!! He'll be making people respect him soon enough.

heh. yeah, it's all in good fun. i was just getting frustrated with all the bashing before the guy coached a single game, so i figured this would be a good way to remember at the end of the year. i hope i'm right and jvg coaches the team to new levels, but i also know that if i'm wrong and the guys in the signature should then be given their credit.

    The negatives:
. A little lapse in the 2nd quarter when Steve and Yao were out. We had Cat and the second unit and we looked a little discorganized. We couldn't score. (Cat and the second unit looked much better in the 4th)
. Mooch still dribbles too much without purpose (more than Steve and Cat). He was lucky some of the shots he threw up went in.

The positives were abundant, the whole team played hard and smart.

The most amazing thing was how fast we got into our offense . The ball was brought or thrown up court, we swung to the open side and we were ready to go to work right away. If we used screen, the screener got right up and ready to set screen in a second. Steve had plenty of time to make his move for a shot or a pass.

When we looked to feed inside to Yao, if nothing open, swung the ball to the other side, looked to throw it inside again, and Yao still had time to go 1 on 1.

It looked like we had 3 major sets:
. Yao was the 1st option and he got plenty of touch. He looked strong and got good position most of the night. The Nuggets rarely doubled and paid for it.
. Steve worked the screen fairly well. He still did not feed the roller(s) but he got himself free numerous times. It looked like his game got easier when he wasn't the 1st option and did not get doubled.
. The 3rd set was Cat ISO with the 2nd unit. When Yao and Steve were out, Cat was given the green light to operate and it worked out fairly well. It looks like Jeff will experiment with Cat as the 6th man.

Boki looked more comfortable on the offense, did not force anything. He got a huge drive and dunk thru the middle of the defense. JJ was solid but still could only get a couple shots to fall.

On defense, we were quick and worked hard, our guard fought thru screen, got up to the shooters' face. Our inside people helped well on picks and penetration.

I was impressed with the effort Steve put in. No more standing around watching the play, he fought hard to stay with his man.

Boki also stayed with Carmelo pretty good. It helped when Carmelo turned the corner toward the basket and saw Yao. He turned back every time! :)

It's one of the more enjoyable game the Rockets played.

i wonder if boki is going to be able to fake a jumpshot and then drive to the hoop often in the early part of the season. i bet a lot of guys assume he's a shooter cause of all those euro guys that are known for their shooting (i.e. peja, dirk, etc.) little do they know that his strength is slashing (i think?).

I think it just took a little court time for Cat to shake the rust off...he looked horrid in the first half...but once he got going..he looked ok.
I know he can do better, but what do you expect out of his first game back?

Mooch...at this point, Im not used to sayinig anything good about Mooch..but he didnt just toss those shots up..he shot them with purpose imo...he needs to work on protecting the ball and getting everyone else involved...but if he can build on his play last game...he could be a worthwhile backup.

pretty good analysis on the rest of it tho..

Well, I don't have the opportunity to watch him as I used to, but as I remember he’s a very good slasher with a very quick first step (and long second and third ;) ). His shooting is also not bad for size and he often falls in a ‘zone’ when he can’t miss. Hopefully you’ll experience this zone soon…

I think it's funny people always complain that we can't be the scrub teams. Then when we beat one they say 'whoop dee doo'.

The day we start going apesh*t over wins like this is the day I stop being a Rockets fan.

So far, looks like I'll be the one saying I was wrong. I was worried that he hadn't coach in a zone and the low point totals and putrid offense of NY. But so far - I like what I see.

I dont see anyone "going apesh!t" over this win, but what's wrong with talking about what went right?

Just like everyone gets to bash when stuff doesnt look good, we should also not be afraid to be happy about bright points.

and if you didnt see bright points in last night's game..you need to watch closer..

Denver isnt a great team...but they certainly are better than past years..they have been averaging about 100 a game so far this year..and we help them to way less than average.
