Is he officially a rookie? ESPN has him listed as 1 year experience. It says nothing if it's an actual rookie.

Ouch, that sucks for Clippers fans. He's a top 15 player just like Cousins.

If we want to be legit, we need a pressence in the paint. I understand Capela is improving, but we need much more post defense, more rebounding, and a reliable way to score in the paint or even outside shooting, if possible. We don't another Dwight, but basically a way to play and defend inside-out.

Rockets keep gelling and growing, playing defence and staying healthy, a few more solid additions at any of the 4 5 and 1 positions are ingredients for a legit contender.

That other Florida team is dangling some nice pieces.

Lukewarm talk about "Abel 2.0" for some help with Pat.

We desperately need a big with a shot though. :)

The best thing about the Rockets so far this year has been their chemistry. It's been a pretty beautiful thing to watch. Players know their roles and are sticking to their roles and playing to their strengths. Watching them on the court they look like they are having fun and playing together as a unit.

We obviously have weaknesses. We could use some stronger defensive players, some depth in the front court and still could use another playmaker/ballhandler for when Harden sits. With that said, it's hard to imagine a trade for any player that could fill those roles without us giving up an important piece in how well the Rockets are gelling right now. Things definitely could change between now and the deadline, but at this point with the way the Rockets have been playing I would think that the potential risk to our chemistry wouldn't be worth any major moves.

    It's on Harden.

To me, he's not a Durant or Lebron yet. He still makes crucial mistakes and depends a bit too much on the refs - I'm talking about when he drives in there and his only hope is to get the contact. I cringe when he does that. Sometimes he doesn't even try to put the ball through the hoop.

I think Harden can be better. And he will have to be for us to get past the likes of GS and Cle.

Notice I did not say SA or the Clips.

Would love to have the Asik of 4 years ago. Dude was a warrior for us before the arrival of Howard. We are obviously having problems defending big centers.

Trade for one of the following: PJ Tucker, Aaron Gordon or Wilson Chandler.

Honestly the only trade I would make right now is for Tyson Chandler and a dream situation would be PJ Tucker as well.

    Give up any combo of
    Brewer
    KJ
    Ennis
    Wiltjer
    Onuaku
    Right to Euros
    Picks

COD thanks for the post. Hope all is well! I know you're down here in PHX have you heard about what direction they want to go with this team? Like moving out vets like Tyson, Tucker Barbosa etc and playing the younger guys? Also how do they feel about Bledsoe? I very rarely hear the local sports guys talking good about him even when he had his 30 PPG streak recently. The amount of people that don't really like him on the team because they think he's stunting Bookers development which I think is silly surprises me. I think he's a really good player.
