Not thinking Ryno is worth his contract is fine. Thinking this as reasoning for it is silly.

If I may add to this.... besides Harden and Ego, Ryno is the only other player whom we can trust to create his own shot. Just in case people don't know, he was 2nd only to Harden in step back jumpers attempted and made last year. He also made them at a similar FG%. We just don't see enough of this (Dirk stepback ) because we have no need to use it based on our offensive strategy, but it is there if we need it.

Chris Mannix: “The market for him [Ricky Rubio], despite that reasonable contract, has shriveled consistently because of how he has played this year.”

Is that the reason why Harden and Ego does that too? Does PBev and Ariza have that much of a quicker release than Ryno and thats why they don't launch it that far? Or maybe, it's because he can.

And it will be needed at some point in the playoffs where I expect him to come up big.

    1) The Whole premise behind most pro Anderson arguments is that it's simply the threat of him being out there which creates space. Bonner and Novak present that threat.

    2) Teletovic and Ilyasova were also available. Both much cheaper and one on an expiring contract.

    3) I think you missed my point with the Ray Allen thing. Ray Allen wouldn't be guarding fours. You'd just be going small and the sf would guard 4's. And it doesn't have to be specifically Ray Allen. The entire point is that if all the Rockets wanted was spacing and do not care about other things then it didn't have to be a stretch 4. Could have been another guard or SF and run a small lineup if you're going to be at a disadvantage at rebounding and defending anyways.

I said I'm cool Anderson and I am. But that doesn't mean I think it's a great contract. It's not.

This dude stole from Houston and we were desperate enough to let him.

He's not worth over 7 million a season

How about 7-16 from 3 with 27 points and getting us to OT

Some people are just not gonna like Anderson because of his contract......until he hits the game winning 3 in game 7 of the Finals! Then they are gonna say that they now like him, but he still gets paid too much.

Well, no. He shoots from 4 feet behind the line for the same reason a dog licks ... oh, never mind. Let's just say, he hits those at an average rate of 1.2 points per shot. You can come out and guard him or not. Pick your poison.

That said, I do think he should shovel $5M a year to Gordon and call it even.

    Clutchfans hates him though. Bum-ass, bomb-ass, punk shootin-ass, thievin-ass, scrub-ass, Anderson.

Some fans needs a player or two to complain about. They are never happy.

He's worth every penny. He spreads out the defense, tries really hard on defense despite physical limitations, and seems like a great locker room presence that fully understands his role.
