    I've always wondered why so many freckley ,pink , orange people think they're Whites. ! what's the official standard

    I can respect that, but I thinking more along the lines of being white and not ashamed.

    Honestly...I think one of the coolest parts about Houston is the diversity in people and cultures. Peoples concept of our town is hilariously shitty and wrong. People legit think Houston is some BFE wooded hill folk trail.

    Be proud of yourself for the good things you have personally done, if you have to be proud at all. It makes no sense to take pride in the accomplishments of others because you share a superficial connection to them like place of birth or skin color. I am not proud because Ryan Anderson is white or from Northern California. Why would those things transfer his accomplishments in any way to me? Probably best not to be proud at all, but if you must be, be proud of what you have done, not of whatever portion of your identity you wish to claim (race, country, region, sexual orientation, religion, gender, etc.)
