I'm not that big of an anime person, but I took a few recommendations from this and some other threads and watched Death Note and attack on Titan and they were awesome. Anymore non childish recommendations? DB Super is the only silly cartoon for me. (the baseball episode was pretty funny).
Finished watching Fullmetal Alchemist this weekend and really enjoyed it. Immediately started watching FMA: Brotherhood. As far as the beginning of the Elric's story line goes, I prefer the how it was done in the original. I'm only 2 episodes in to Brotherhood though, so my feelings about this could definitely change. Also started watching Durarara!! last night. Through 2 episodes, I'm not really sure what the show will be about. Also, I'm having a lot of trouble remembering peoples names. It's been interesting, and I'll keep watching.
One Punch Man, on the silly side, but still awesome. Steins Gate, my personal favorite, style and pace isn't for everyone though. Psycho Pass
I watched one punch man. That may be my favorite ever. I've started psycho pass but keep falling asleep.
Psycho pass is a 2-3 episode investment and deff. pays off. I started it 10x before I actually watched it properly lol. FMA, Akame Ga Kill, Code Geass, Crossange, Erased, to name a few also. And if you like One Punch Man, watch Mob Psycho, its made by the same person.
If you want non-childish I can't give a much better recommendation then Re:Zero Also Erased may be up your alley as well
You probably already know this, but the first few episodes of Brotherhood are almost exactly the same as the original. After a certain point, the story diverges immensely and Brotherhood turns out to be the better one (in my opinion).
Already looking forward to Yowamushi Pedal 3 next season since Haikyuu is over. Nanbaka, all out, days, and haikyuu are all i've followed this season. Not very impressed by the last two seasons. Recently finished 'KonoSuba' which is your typical reicarnated into a fantasy video game world. It's getting a second season next month which i'm looking forward to as well. I'm really waiting on Koe no katachi to come out with english subs. Romance anime FTW. Has anyone been having BS issues with kissanime? I've had to move to 9anime.to for my fill.
Anybody watching Knights of Sidonia? Its a netflix original and I just finished the first season. I enjoyed it quite a bit.
Great recommendation on mob psycho. The writers are amazing. When I said silly stuff I was talking about the pirate crap people like... this show has goofy humor but it's amazing. Just like one punch man. Also... I feel like my fiancée is judging me for watching subbed anime.
Is Akame Ga Kill actually that good? I found it kind of a mess. It went TOO quickly from comedic interludes to depressing death to strange action, and back to comedic interludes. I also found it needlessly depressing. Spoiler I don't mind when main characters get killed if it moves the story, but by about 3/4 through the series, they are just murdering everybody to be edgy without narrative motivation.
Alright, after 8 episodes of Durarara!! I'm giving up on it. Not really any story to speak of and I don't find any of the characters particularly interesting. Think I'll try Steins;Gate next.
