When a player isn't in a major market, it take a lot to get the national media pundits excited about the players ability. It's safe to say that Harden is opening up a lot of eyes, especially now that he has a coach that is running plays. Harden is much like Hakeem in that if he's allowed, he will make players around him better. The quiescence of a superstar. Three years ago even ClutchFans were debating if he was the star for us. With last years team performance, the media was so quick to discard him, that he didn't make an all NBA team. There were debates he was nearly as valuable as Klay Thompson. Harden is getting into the next stratosphere few NBA players reach, he's putting up numbers, he's making his teammates better, they are winning, and they are flat out dominating teams. Clyde was a superstar, he had a spectacle style that left ohhs and aha. Harden is if nothing more, sheer efficiency, he gets it done with little flair, putting up video game stats
Clyde's comments are mostly based on his personal opinion and not facts. I've been told he is currently the worst nba commentator by numerous people. Everything he says is so obvious or self-evident. He doesn't add value for viewers with his comments and its best he just steps down from this job, which I doubt he will.
