That's just classical convention. Lots of players lead their teams to championships between 30-32. I can name a few from the recent past Kobe at the end of his career LeBron Hakeem Clyde Pierce, Allen, KG Dirk Duncan, Manu, Parker Beyond 30 might not be physical prime for many. Id agree that's 25-31 maybe. But physical prime alongside mental maturity and experience is at its peak between 27-32.
