Whoa espn : Motiejunas took his physical on Friday in Houston, and coach Mike D'Antoni said he expected Motiejunas to be with the team Saturday. "I was there but they told me to go home," Motiejunas said in a text message to ESPN.
Maybe we should just take what Woj said for now, maybe they just want more info...but if it's just that, why they don't say it? Eh...
Woj chooses his words very carefully. He used the word activate. A player on a roster can be active or inactive. Since he used the word activate I wonder if that means he is officially on the roster?
Hmmm, I read that the Rockets are waiting on some information "From" DMo's side, what could that possibly be - maybe some scans or something he had done previously and they want to compare them with the one's they took on Friday to see if things were stable and had not degenerated? That is all I can think of........I hope it all works out for both sides. I don't believe the Rockets would be petty - and try to get back at him, so, it has to be something like what I mentioned.... If they do see some degeneration they could void the contract, and DMo would be an UFA, I believe........though, not sure.... DD
Glad to hear from you and good to see you are in good spirits. I know this must be tough for you. Chin up big dog!
Can you imagine if the bbs was around like it is now back when Vernon quit on the team? Clutch's server would have melted.
LOL - not tough for me at all, I hope he is ok, and can contribute to the team - enjoying the team we have right now - and think a healthy DMo makes us even better - but if he is unhealthy, or the Rockets can't or won't take a risk on him, then I hope for him he finds somewhere else to play. The Rockets have always been severely risk averse - they were worried about Scola's long term effect on his knees - so they let him go, years ago they wouldn't take a risk on Sean Elliott and rescinded a trade - they didn't want TMac to have microfracture surgery...... So, I am sure it will all come out, and resolve itself one way or the other....frankly I am tired of it, happy if he stays - fine if he goes....unless he blows up elsewhere of course. DD
Wouldn't they be looking at comparing scans from a longer period of time, which they most probably have? Hope you are right, and the team gets answers they need to make the right decision. Want to see healthy Dmo back
Didn't he pass his physical with the Nets? I guess the Rockets wanted to look at something a little more, get some 2nd opinions. I don't think its anything serious, just want to make sure.
