yep, fantastic summary. This should be stickied . . . either that or pasted into all the DMo threads separately. ;)

No please no new thread. I have had so much popcorn that the office toilet bowl has become my new home.

Does anyone know what Dmo's specific back surgeries were?

The only thing we agree on is doing what is right for the TEAM. We should waive the physical and start to fine him and the clock to trade him. He is a real ASSet not something that may happen. When his pocket book starts to hurt he will come around. His contract is very team friendly and should be easy to move in a season or so. I am not agents starting his contract letting him set out for the season with no pay --> fines and moving him at a latter date. He has value in a trade on that friendly of a contract. All it cost was Bobby Brown and saves money, too.

I go to about every home game and usually about 13 Rows behind the Rockets bench.
I will talk trash to D-Mo his first game.
While he won't care and I'll sound really annoying, and accomplish nothing, that's my right as a wild ass fan.

    I dislike D-Mo

Will go with that: “Only those that have travelled the road know where the holes are deep.” on contract, but his actions after: “Failure is not falling down but refusing to get up.”

DMo is for all intents and purposes signed, his little "hold out" is unprecedented.

The reason the Rockets listed him is for backup in case they end up in court.

D-Mo's company is the NBA, not the Rockets. The NBA governs the terms of D-Mo's employment. NBA teams are just departments within the main entertainment company. Players don't get to freely negotiate with teams they want to sign with, but rather the NBA decides the terms that a player may negotiate with teams with, which teams can draft him, how his rights can be transferred, etc. A player can only decide if they want to enter the NBA or not. D-Mo already tacitly agreed to the terms of the collective bargaining agreement by virtue of entering into negotiations with an NBA team. He CAN look for another job- in another league.

Will post it here too. Lithuanian media tells that DMo changed his mind (or who knows what's happening) and will go for the physical.

When you say "Lithuanian media" you mean random dudes who know less than casual Rockets fan and who are quoting another random dude on twitter with 50 followers who says DMo changed his mind. I wish people would stop spreading dumb rumors.

Well, you don't be to rude. I am reporting what it is being said. Media is quoting US sources. Whether it's true or not, we will see I suppose.

...or maybe it could be family members/friends who have talked to him....

Give this dude a break. His post is no worse than countless other foolish posts in here. In fact, it's better.
