What's with all the Westbrook hate? I understand his shooting percentages are not exactly what you call efficient but dude is a human highlight reel. At times incredible to watch. You got to appreciate his motor and the fact that he can play 120% each and every possession. Allen Iverson won MVP shooting 42% FG% and 32% from 3. WB's percentages this season so far are slightly better than that plus more than double the assists and rebounds.
Allen Iverson led the Sixers (whose assets were arguably worse than OKCs) to the NBA finals that year. If RW manages the same then hats off to him.
OKC bigs aren't even trying to get those easy defensive rebounds anymore, they just box out because they know that Westbrook will just fly in to snatch the ball from them.
That actually sounds like a great way to rebound the ball. I've only seen it happen maybe 2 times my entire life, the team boxes out so well that the ball bounces on the ground before anyone collects it. It's subtle, but a sign of dominance.
First of all: i dont hate him. As a die hard Rockets and James Harden fan, this is what annoys me; every effin media guy last year said "harden is a ballhog" "he is only averaging 29pts behause he doesnt pass the ball."... and now everyone is calling the ultra super duper ballhog the "MVP" ??? And Harden had ONLY scrubs at that time. Man i love ariza but he sucked last year. Imagine that Brewer was one of our key players in a 3pt shooting team, but westbrooks team sucks? It's a joke,man...

I am still amazed at Westbrook's rebounding. I mean, is he getting all of those end of quarter shots rebounds? And stealing rebounds from his own players?
And thats the problem with his tripple double to me. This are STATS. Who tf cares if you have 10 rpg or 7? The only difference is that adams and the other bigs give their uncontested rebounds to westbrook. THATS IT

Even with the rebound padding, it's still very impressive. Only 1 other player has done it, ever. I still hope harden can keep dishing and beat Russ in assist at least

Man, you can't enjoy Harden's game and then trash on Westbrook. The guy is a beast, and most important- he gets the W's. We can root for our team and still be impressed by other performances of great players. This is what we expect others to do with Harden.
