Sadly I too think they will cut Wiltjer over Brown. But I think he'll get picked up by some scrub team that allows him enough minutes to put up some decent numbers. I mean he can shoot the 3 with the best of them though he's not too good at much else. Some team will pick him up for that attraction. And Bobby remains to be part of the paid jester for Mr. Harden
According to DMO last year after back rehab he would tweet the number of 3pt shots he was making in solo shooting drills and he barely missed, then comes back and can't throw it in the ocean to save his life. I'm sure MDA will bring him along slowly especially since the team is playing extremely well as of now.
I'm not sure Wiltjer will ever amount to anything due to his lack of athleticism...But we all KNOW Brown will never amount to anything, dude is a old chucker. At least Wiltjer has some potential at his age with a 3pt shot, good height and touch around the rim. Especially in our system with Anderson as a prime example of what he can be. (Hopefully Anderson is teaching Wiltjer everything he knows).
I just don't see them cutting Wiltjer. It has to be Bobby Brown. Mike James is a better player than him in 2016.
I could totally see DM the GM flipping Ennis & KJ + 2nd to Washington for Trey Burke (it wouldn't even surprise me if he used the same package to acquire Tyus Jones from Minny). Free up roster spot + cap room + improve team in one move.

If we had an empty roster spot I would say that is the case for sure. The rockets maybe trying to free up a roster spot via trade versus out right cutting a player.
