I wonder how much Dwight is affecting these stats. The lane seemed clogged before. No one on this team is going to come out and say it, but I bet they're feeling the effect. Dwight seemed to think he was the number 1 option and that feeling effected his position on the court.

I'm growing more and more grateful for Bazemore and Horford telling us no. Neither are worth Anderson and Gordon combined. I'm sure our defense would be better with either, but I'm not sure that makes up for the offense that gets created by these pure shooting godsends.

No doubt Ryno and Gordon fit this offensive system.

But, are you aware Horford is shooting 41.7% from 3s on 3.6 attempts a game. And he's an excellent high-post passer -- 4.6 assists/gm. Pretty sure MDA could fit him in. Then his 2.7 block/gm.

Your gratefulness is in for test tomorrow night.

    I.. uh... respect stuff

Still 2 contributors vs 1 is what it is. That 4.6 assists/g is really impressive. The 42% from three makes me wish, but the 32 minutes per million has me like all:

players with the best percentage only take high percentage shots. if everyone on the team played like that we'd be well defended by the shot clock. not a good stat to hang your hat on. love nene and brew though

Great thread loaded with stats/analysis....goes deeper into why I think Harden doesn't have to rely on getting fouled anymore...especially since the refs have taken that away from him since last season anyways, and as a result the Rox are scoring 100-120 points per night now that Harden changed his game. He doesn't need to draw that many fouls anymore obviously. The other piece to all this is that all these stats in this thread make me think even more now how the Rox altho similar to the MDA suns he coached are built differently from those suns teams. For example, Ariza/Ryno are flat out spot up shooters from 3 point land...Gordon also altho he can create off the dribble and slash just as well as 3 point bomb. I remember the suns being more "circus/barnum bailey" type of team doing all kinds of crazy **** until come playoff time (astrix mark for when they got screwed by the refs against the Lakers that one playoff series they shoulda won but lost). MDA/Morey seem to be correcting "what went wrong" with the suns with a slightly more traditional blueprint of shooters that are just that...shooters spot up 3 point killers when hot.

I think the sports media jokers like ESPN/TNT are slowly finding out they are just as wrong about the Rox as the mainstream media was shoving down our throats all that propaganda Hillary was gonna win only to look like captain jackass on youtube in the end when she didn't. I think these stats are gonna go "hold up" to some degree with some natural drop off but nothing drastic come playoff time in my opinion.
