While most players are not free from being trade fodder, it would be very "poor form" for the Rockets to deal Nene after he took a grossly below-market deal this summer to come here after being chased by this franchise for years. Sure, teams need to do what is in their best interests, but I have a hard time seeing the Rockets move Nene this season unless it's to a destination that Nene is okay with. Just my two cents.

Only thing I worry about is chemistry and how these moves affect summer free agency.
We saw the impact chemistry has on a team last season, so just signing DMo because its a good deal seems risky.
And we still need a superstar level talent to compete for a chip, and from what I gathered from BimaThugs post, DMo's contract will hinder our ability to give a max this summer...

you can just not extend it for next season, the way its structured. I mean if he play decent and Morey still lets him go, it would show to other free agents that Morey is willing to act toward players as humans and just assets. Its a win/win in any case.
