Yes, especially in Houston's park and with Springer or Marisnick playing CF. Gurriel has a good arm and glove, his range is his limiting tool. But with Minute Maid's short porch in left, range is less of a requirement at that position. Gurriel won't be a great defender there, but he should be better than a lot of guys who have played there over the years (Lee, Tucker, etc.). And with Aoki/Marisnick on the bench, there will always be a sub available to sub in to protect a lead.

Adding Encarnación to this lineup would be huge. Astros would have a legitimate cleanup hitter. Springer, Altuve, Correa, Bregman, McCann, Gattis, Reddick are legit; however Encarnación is the slugger this team needs. I think he could gel the nucleus!!
Makes me nervous with all the unconfirmed reports. Someone seems to be leaking false reports which makes me think we're being used for leverage. Hope that's not the case.
