Would you agree or disagree with this statement: "We need colored people leading the Republican Party right now". I assume you disagree.

So, how would that differ from the position "We don't need colored people leading the Republican Party right now"?

My point is that the sentence can be interpreted in two different ways. (1) As a rejection of the notion that "colored people" need to be leading the Republican Party, or (2) As an assertion that "colored people" should not be leading the Republican Party.

The first meaning is acceptable and fair. The second is not.

Who other than a racist could come up with something like that?

First of all, I am not a Republican, so I have no vested interest who runs that party.

However, to the extent that the Republicans try to fill leadership positions or exclude people from leadership positions according to a skin color requirement, that is racism, straight up. Certainly people of any level of skin pigmentation should be welcome and encouraged to participate in the leadership of the Republican party, unless they want to be a racist party of course.

If they asked me, I would certainly recommend that the Republicans not engage in the racially obsessed "Identity Politics" practices of the Democrat left. That stuff is just plain wrong, it is racist and it is tearing our country apart.

Yeah she's a racist...who supported Bernie Sanders for president...

Again, it wasn't an exclusionary comment. Did you hear her say Millennials? All she did was make a case for someone else.

Oh really? Ever heard of the Southern Strategy? It is the reason this country is so divided by race in the first place and it is the real reason why the GOP hasn't won the black vote in decades. Maybe read up on it, it is the Republican party that practices identity politics.

You literally just had a candidate run on dividing the country...seriously...and you say you are not a Republican? Calling BS on that, just like other conservatives you have this fantasy of playing the neutral party and your history here says anything but.

Is that the new "I have a black friend" defense?

Well you can't say she's against white people holding high offices when she was working for Bernie Sanders to get him elected to the highest office.

I'm kidding for the most part. Her comments are pretty terrible though.

What was the name of a Democrat non-white presidential candidate this time around? Perhaps I am fogetting, but I don't recall any such candidate forher to vote for. Maybe you could refresh my memory about that if I am leaving anyone out.

So now there is a non-white candidate running for Democrat party leader and she believes that no white party leader candidates need apply.

You can try to spin it as much as you want, but that is racism, straight up, plain and simple. Of course the thing is, you know very well that there are multiple tens of millions of Democrat voters and supporters who agree with those sentiments.

Birds of a feather, flock together.

What terrible logic man honestly. It is assumed racism, that she'd support a black guy because a black guy was running. Truth is you said that she was against white people holding high leadership positions. She was on Sanders team...and when he lost she threw her support to an elderly white woman.

This is quite simply the opposite of what you've said.

You know what is plain racism? The politics of the Southern Strategy.

A favorite tactic of Alt-Right Trump supporters like you is to pretend that Trump didn't say what Trump said.

How the heck is that racist? Calling some person a token is racist now? I think there's a legitimate case to call Obama that. When he ran, he had no stand-out work experience but for some reason managed to get nominated over Hillary.

FYI, I've written a number of academic papers with good citation indices. No, I wouldn't trade my contribution to society for Obama's any day. He's been terrible. He didn't fix the economy, destroyed the stability in the ME which gave birth to ISIS, massively increased national debt and produced the super PC culture we have today. His presidency ends with the Republicans taking over the presidency, the Senate, the House and soon the Supreme Court. That's just pathetic. Even the most racist black should be ashamed of him.

Said the Trump supporter who has less experience than Obama.

If you say so, he's still accomplished much more in his life than you yours. I'm pretty sure of that. Maybe give him a little respect instead of calling him a token which BTW you should probably learn what that means before just throwing it out there.

Lol no. Such a simplistic view on things but not surprising coming from you.

Oh? He alone did that? Please, elaborate.

Oh, it'll be worse under Trump. That I have no doubt of.

Well PC culture goes both ways. Conservatives whine about name calling as much or more as liberals.

It also ends with growing approval ratings and oh, just not in our country...

Obama will be seen as a guy who did all he could do in the face of a GOP that simply didn't want to legislate or do much of anything at all.

I think calling someone a token isn't racist, it's just that Dei has this bad dream that a big bad-ass black man is screwing the women in Dei's life and they like it more than they like it with him. But probably that's not true - as there are no women in Dei's life.
