He was like +21. It's like the 3rd straight game he was top +/-. Yet ppl devalue the guy like we can easily replace him. Bev's way more important than pp give him credit for

I agree and I think the same can be said about Ariza.

Glad Ackerman was calling the game not Worrell because hearing him yell out "A-three-za" 6 times would have been annoying.

Anyone complaining about the 50 threes is just flat out trying to be negative.

If you make 21/50 threes every game you'll win 65 games a season easy, maybe more.

If the team is going to shoot 42% on threes I don't care if they shoot 60 threes.

That three ball is what got us out to a huge lead huge lead that was impossible for the kings to comeback.

The kings when on like 13-0 run in the second quarter and was still down 16 points. That's what the three ball does for this team. It's also what the three ball does for GS and the Cavs and last time I checked they are the two team to win the last two finals.

The idea is that at some point in the game hopefully early you overwhelm teams with a barrage of threes get a big lead and then it puts the opponent in catch up mode for the rest of the game.

This is the new NBA and the rockets adapted quick. Sure we'll lose some games and we still need one more allstar but this is a very good team and on most nights we will win.

We should give credit to Corey Brewer, since the game against OKC this guy is looking different.8 points on 63% , less turnovers, better defending and ...I wish he becomes like the Brewer in his first season with us
I count it he made two 3-point shot in a game after 30 games !!!(not included preseason games)

the brewer hate imo is unwarranted..it's a long season and people need to be patient. i think brew's energy will be huge for us in big games and will help even in playoffs..

    just wait and see.

The hate is a remnant of the season long **** storm he put up last season, its not just based on this seasons performance.

Our team rebounding is through the roof as of lately. I believed we can be a good rebounding team after Dwight.

When you pay somebody a third of a max contract and they play like a lunch bag full of dog **** lit on fire on the Rockets doorstep for an entire season its pretty warranted hate.

Yup. Anybody who claims that Beverley sucks or doesn't provide anything is immediately discredited.

What I took away from the game last night:

I hope Brew keeps this up to the point he plays himself into a trade or we hold onto him and hes in his past form.

Been saying this alot recently, Ariza is alot more valuable than people on this site seem to give him credit for.

Bev is a jack of all trades, a handyman so to say. Can do everything, but nothing at a high level. Valuable player. His offensive game has improved, he seems quicker because of the lost weight, and his 3pt shot is still money.

Harden looks pretty tired out on the court. He played 40 minutes.

Anderson is not worth 80m, lets dump him on the Kings for Gay.

Gordon is streaky but when hes hot hes very good.

Capela is still feasting, our most valuable trade piece (outside of Harden, obviously)

KJ and DAntoni must be beefing. Hes not worthy of DNPs on this roster.

    What am I missing?

No it isn't. He was pretty bad all last year and so far this year has barely played above a weekend warrior level. Hopefully he can continue this mini resurgence because it seems nothing will put him on the bench. The ennis hate...that was unwarrranted.

Agreed. I don't like his voice. Maybe I will get used to it in time, but it is hard to adjust after hearing Bill Worrell's familiar, comforting voice for the past 25 years of my life.

Agreed, but that's mainly on offense that Anderson is out on the 3 point line. Not exactly sure who Anderson was guarding on defense, maybe some stretch big guys, but he could still grab at least a couple rebounds (more than zero anyhow). But yes definitely agree about the guard rebounding, Harden and Beverley combined for 17 which is obviously a huge number for a starting backcourt. Helps make up for lesser rebounding bigs like Anderson and Nene

That's really the main thing I don't like about Ackerman; His delivery is too frenetic. He knows his stuff though, but his voice.. I don't like it.
